Written 2-18-05

Darkly forlorn, among triumphant days,
Hope unseen, can’t count the cost;
Feeling burned under halting rays,
That sense again that one is lost.

I look back to the dark, once in the Light,
Perspective is clearer behind my back;
Thanks be to my God, for I’m not right,
For by the Grace, I’m kept in track.

With backward glance, this I see,
To my own glad amazement;
Grace covers potholes, where sin should be,
Not even seeing where I’d repent.

To look ahead is not my lot,
My sight is halted beyond my nose;
My heart is His, I’m forever caught,
Held by heaven’s Anointed Rose.







Saw this one day in my life in Him. Thank the Lord He will not remember my sins against me.

"No longer will a man teach his neighbor,
or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD ,'
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,'"
declares the LORD .
"'For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.'"--Jeremiah 31:34
