They say,"Curiosity killed the cat," but we hope that is not what
happened to our beloved Tigger -- he's been gone since Sunday
afternoon.

Why, why, why? Lots of questions, but where are the answers?
It's important for all of us that we stay curious and inquisitive.
Regardless of age, if we stay curious, we keep the brain juices
flowing and have a better chance of keeping a young and alert
mind.

I've always been full of questions like: Why does life seem so long
when we are young but so very short when we are old; If the world
rotates clockwise (does it?) and you drive your car at exactly 60
mph, will you go slightly faster driving East than if you drove
West; On a world globe it is downhill all the way from NY to FL,
so why can't we just coast all the way to Florida?

We should approach our Bibles with the same sense of curiosity
and wonder and not be afraid to ask questions. Unfortunately,
some feel they are guilty of doubt if they ask questions. Not so --
God didn't give new birth to a group of non-thinking zombies. He
surely wants us to be curious because it causes us to dig into His
word and become stronger believers. It keeps our spiritual mind
healthy and alert to better serve Him.

Acts 17:11 (nlt), "...they (the Bereans) searched the Scriptures day
after day to check up on Paul and Silas, to see if they were really
teaching the truth." That's the kind of curiosity about which I'm
talking. Let's be Bereans!
