I may be only
Eight years old
I don’t know what I want to be
It’s not a concern
In time I will learn
What vision that God has for me.

I have these dreams
I know what it means
It’s God trying to show me the way
I feel him inside
I know he’s alive
God will show me that vision one day.

I’ve heard his voice
Now I have no choice
But to serve and I’m ready to start
I was born with a goal
Deep down in my soul
God put that passion in my heart.

I will open my eyes
And then realize
I know how I’ll fit in God’s plan
Whatever I do
I work till I’m through
And be the best that I possibly can.

We all have a job
In service to God
Use the gift that God has given you
I’ll learn why I’m here
And it will be clear
Then I’ll do what God wants me to do.
