Imagine a town called Ultraviolet
where knowledge is held up.
Where leaders and teachers
are considered a notch above.
Structure is revered.
Change requires discussion.
Everything has a word for itself
before it can function.
Feelings are feared,
distrusted and disrespected.
Anything odd is
highly suspected.

Imagine a town called Infra Red.
Where “it just opened up” is the explanation.
Where there aren't any levels
or labels for anyone’s station.
Sensing and feeling are
trusted ways to discern.
Watching is the only
way you can learn.
Anyone can start a song
or interrupt with a word.
Not many actions are
DISCERNED to be absurd.
But to ever study
from a book.
This is the knowledge
they did forsook.

Imagine living in one town
and then moving to the next
and trying to explain to the other
about the other one’s best.
But always butting up against.
This invisible thing called “prejudice”.

Imagine all the colors in between.
that could come out of a bridge from these two extremes.
