My heart ripples with heartfelt fear,
All I’ve known has left me dire;
All time ripples, Your presence here,
I sing Your glory with my lyre.

Hold my hand, draw me in,
Your glory to behold;
You have cleansed me of my sin,
My spirit will ne’er grow old.

And of my bad dreams,
I say to them, “Goodbye!”
And with my new sight,
I see Your love fly high!

The ripple grows beyond my space,
That is Yours, and not mine;
You have given me my lovely race,
All to You, and I am flying.

This light up ahead,
It is so brightly bold;
I draw near, with heart of lead,
And I no longer feel so cold.

And of my bad dreams,
I say to them, “Goodbye!”
And with my new sight,
I see Your love fly high!
