God knew that their cry will make no sense he “…said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward Exodus 14:15

I believe God’s unsearchable wisdom created the power packed words thousands of centuries ago. But my situation then and now made it more relevant. This because of fear entertained and faith needed. Since then, I know we must always try to go forward irrespective of the circumstance. This attitude was put up by that woman who had a dead child in the days of Elisha: “she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, drive, and Go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. 2King 4:24
I sincerely pray that God may ignite your soul with decisions propelled by faith when in some challenging situations. I discovered that devil love to use our past disappointments in collaboration with our present circumstance, possible or proposed failure and doubt in ignorance to clog the wheel of our progresses. However, what you we hear God say is “Go forward”.

When Moses led the Israelite to the most horrifying sea, all he heard from them was blames, curses and tears. He had no weapon to combat the anxious threats and undaunted commitment of the enemy nor the means to cross the frustrating sea. God was not bothered about the concern of their tears, He said “why do you cry to me? Tell the children of Israel to Go forward Exodus 14:15

Experiencing some confrontations may not be strange. Sometimes, these are unavoidable in life. You may experience some adverse situations, challenges and responsibilities. Chariots and horses with host of problems and difficulties may compass your ways in life. Their hosts may breathe threat. We are trusted not concede to fears and settle for death or any other adverse alternatives God’s manifestations. It may read tough and rough before the splendid solution. Then the solution will be valued. Do not be disturbed if it seems God ignore your tears.Some times, they are the products of self-pity. He values our trust in Him than the tears of self-pity. You are a product of dignity. None on Earth ever solved his or her problems by tears. Challenges parsding themselves in your life cannot be subdued until you take step forward beyond your present situations! Our tears is often caused by our tendencies to fathom God’s ways, wisdom and working in the trials we face. These may not be necessary, but must learn how to take step of faith. We have to position ourselves appropriately to experience God’s miracles.

Before I did my final year examination in the high school, it was obviously difficult to pay the bill. Yet, “Going forward” was evident in God’s opnion. I was preparing for the examination while means to pay the bill was not certain.But He did it miraculously, it came to pass, I did the examination.

Similarly when I finished my high school, I needed to seat for an examination to procede my education. I had no means to pay the fees. One day, I knelt down and told the Lord my aim and predicament. While I knelt down He spoke this words clearly “Go forward” the verse jumped at me in Exodus 14:15. The story there was not strange. But God was not interested in this; He wanted me to get the revelation so my doubt was attacked without mercy.” Since then, it became a common instruction. Then, I got the message this way “Act all you can in faith’ or Do your part of the job, Let me do mine. “Act towards what you want without evidences” That is faith- this words transformed my faith. There, I compiled all I needed for the preparation of the examination and the and fees provisions were God’s responsibilities. I told the Lord, I have gone forward, but He told me, I want you to keep going forward. Do you know how God did it? He raised my aunt up to talk about my education with passion to her husband. A civil servant, but the Lord laid it in his mind and he paid the bill after making enquires on my behalf. Well, that settled that case, but there lies before me a long journey. I must have a university education, I wanted dearly!

All God had for me was “Go forward”. Then I started preparing, making necessary enquiries about the examination, cost and preparatory lectures. Each time I do this, I tell the Lord I have gone forward: I also started preparation for the examination I have not paid the fees nor sure of getting the money. But one thing was certain; I did pay for that examination and thanks to God for this.

As I sought for admission into the University, I did worked in a dry cleaning company. I wanted to work and save considerable amount of money. But the more I tried, the more necessity prevented me. Coping with challenges on campus was scaring. All God did say was “leave this place and go forward- just like the red sea, I was scared of the commitment in the campus. My experience about lack threatened a replay. According to my Guardian, it was chief among foolish decisions. But all I heard was “Go forward” and He took me through the scaring seas and storms that my grandmother reminded me in my final year. You said God would provide.

We may have experienced series of failures you do not need to ponder over them. We just need the lessons and testimonies in them. You have to ignore the past, if you have successfully extracted these. You cannot understand the journey better until you have moved forward. I tried it once, I wanted to know the details in my journey. Then the Holy Spirit said, son, you have to Go forward. Because the further and farther you go, the better you see and know.

You cannot continue to celebrate your failure, disappointment, past and scaring future, but be sure, you carry God within you. The way will start opening. If I had consented to devil, to continue in that then circumstance with the excuse that there is no money, I will not have these testimonies. You cannot continue to celebrate your valleys and low lands. Just as the angels told Lot in Genesis 19 “escape to the mountain”. There is a mountain that God wants you to escape to
. It will be a great conspiracy and offence against your future and God’s purpose to stay in that lowland.

For God to take you to that height, He does not depend on what you have now, but you must have Him. Seas and mighty oceans will part and deadly enemies will be destroyed. Storms obey His command. You will need to go to the other side, do not be afraid of the storm.
And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. Matt 6:45.

Distance between here and other side
Simply the distance between where you are now and where you should go to in life is demarcated by your ignorance and need. God’s wisdom will make up for this. All you need to do is Go forward. All you need is not much money, position or people; you just need to have Him in your boat. Do you have Him in Your journey? If “NO” seek Him today and if “YES” You are safe to go forward. I congratulate you!

Silver and gold I may not have, but I surely believe that these words will ring when you come into the plains and mountains where God had patterned to orchestrate signs and wonder and add to your testimonies. When you are engrossed with and faced all kind of challenges; when and when, just remember this, GO FORWARD

There were moment when I cannot trust people, my confidence in men were destroyed by situations and circumstances. Thanks to God for this! It was necessary; it is a “course” in the school of God. You must first be stripped of all confidence of men and learn well how to trust God, before you will be presented a wonder in your generation. I was to spend 5 years in the school. I love to get part time job alongside my academics, just being anxious on how to solve the problems for these years. but the message still stand firm “Go forward” – Take steps, right steps any way. There is some thing you can do that does not require you to do what you cannot do, do that thing. That is going forward. Although in most cases, we spend three quarters (3/4) of our time/life thinking or doing many things we cannot do. “Go forward is simply, doing what you can do and God will be there to take care of the part you cannot handle.

A set up

In Exodus 14:14-19. There were still some miles or kilometers between the Israelite and the Red Sea. The zealous and cruel tyrant’s Army and Red Sea were the problems and not the space between them (Israelite) and the Red Sea. They needed to move forward to either keep the distance between them and the tyrant’s Army constant or increased. Or to reduce the distant between them and the red sea. The farther we are to parts that are God’s responsibilities because of the negligence in our responsibilities, the more the delay to answers to prayers. Keep your responsibility, that is your duty. It is God’s responsibilities to part the sea and deal with the tyrant’s Army – it is not yours. “Going forward” is your primary responsibility. Parting the scaring red sea and dealing with tyrants is God’s.” Stagnancy is a crime for all those who must have miracles.

Please imagine, if you were in the Israelite situation, while in the red sea, with dynamic and blinking, standing walls, at each side as you pass through, you should be scared. But the principles still apply despite the fear and death’s possibilities – “Go forward”. God’s miracles most times will throw you into new and complex challenges, but must you turn back; because there are walls or threatening situations!

However, they went forward and crossed the red sea, still their enemies ran with zeal as if to cross likewise. Moses was instructed; stretch the rod and the blinking walls descend and drown were the entire host of the enemy. This was my experience anyway. I had completed my admissions, I had two that year, one was late, the other was timely and God provided the registration and all other subsidiary fees. However, I needed lots to go through these years; this was my constant fear. But nothing seemed to run through the mind of God than “Go forward”. My fear and it cause does not make any impact on God. In the second year in the university, I thought of abandoning my programme, when I completed my second semester examination. The situation was horrible, coupled with the nation’s turbulence, but I was already in the red sea, guided by all sides, all I just have to do was “Go forward”. Early in the morning of one of the days while I was praying , the Lord gave me an instruction that consoled me when I carried it out. However, I was still in the Red sea until I crossed to the other side- (when I graduated)

God does not give all His instructions, promises and plans at once. The farther you go the more you will know. Covenants are in stages. The farther you go with the Lord, more exceptional covenant relationship He will have with you. There are covenants that will expire in your lifetime. There are covenants that will span through all your generations, till the world is brought to an end and there are covenants that may last eternity.

“And the Lord said unto Moses wherefore cries thou to me? Speak to the children of Israel that they ‘Go forward’’ After these no further instruction until the got to the other side of the red sea, God did not tell them what was next to do. In verse 26 the farther you go with the Lord, the more instructions, inspirations, promises and plans about you know.

Further is the journey, the Israelite will still need to move forward despite the temporary victory which they celebrated in Ex 15, with God, you keep going forward.

When confronted with some hard decisions, necessary to forgo the convenience and institution I was trying to build in the wilderness, He confronted me with these words again “Go forward”. I needed to keep going, until I reach the Promised Land and that has brought me and this work by His grace closer to you. I had learned great lessons by these simple statements, yet I have not exhausted the better part of the wisdom in this.

Go forward is the motto in the school of God. Every student in the school, must learn this principle well. The less you know about this, the less your score and reputation in the kingdom. Every anticipating student in the school of God must understand this Motto: “Go forward” It is simply: Have faith in God, against all seemly lack of evidences about your anticipations, request and hope Have faith in God. “Go forward” for without faith, it is impossible to please God
