A must in the process of life
Most times, God often reserve the details to the end of the show and this require patience, this makes the testimonies worth wonders.
Sympathetically, a young curious boy saw a new butterfly struggling within the cocoon to start life process. He attempted assistance. He took a razor and cut the cocoon open, the important metamorphic process of these creatures was aborted. He was concerned but ignorant. This two mingled together gave birth to his impatience and he aborted the process!
A little child, an anticipating farmer planted some seeds and each passing day, he was at that place to dig out the seed. After a while, he discovered that the seeds were dead. He narrated his experience in his venture to his father. Until then, he was ignorant of the faith and patience he was expected to have, if must be an accomplished farmer.
It is very important that the seed had to be buried and decay before any germination and subsequent fruition of any plant.
‘ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, he remain alone, but if it dies it produces much grain John 12; 24. This is the process of production. The combination and companionship of our concerns and desire with ignorance and impatience is a powerful concoction devil uses to abort, or inhibit the process of miracle and fulfillment of promises in many lives. We need to understand God’s draft of processes and procedures into His will and promises. Though, He has power to accomplish instant miracles where necessary some times, He allows process into situations and circumstances and then, they are inevitable in the programs of God. Although sometimes, He could abandon some protocols of angels and men, but when and where necessary, there are processes.
Between conception of baby and birth, there are stages in that duration of time. Between birth and delivery, there are stages and processes. You can not suddenly get to the high school, or university and there spend just few months and demand a certificate for completing the course of study; it will require your fulfillment of the pre-requisite, spend the stipulated time or years required for the study with many examinations before your promotion. There are courses and laws governing this field of study, you are expected to certify: There is no half completion in the university. Pay the price and have the crown.
The promises of God and covenant have processes and procedure. In between the promises and fulfillment, there is the process in the control of time. When God gives promises, He does have it end in a specific time. Between the utterances of promise and fulfillments, God always have one or two things to do; all depends on Him. He is a miracle working God and not a magician; that is why He will allow some due and necessary processes between the time of pronouncement of promises and their fulfillments.
God being a master builder will love to take necessary precautions in His skill of expertise and wonders to lay a reliable foundation on which He will build some wonderful structures you deserve! Please trust His Wisdom in this manner. If He calls you or you have a dream or vision compatible with his plans and purpose, you will have to do it his own way.
God do give promises as well as a prophecies. “God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Gen 6:13 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. Gen 6:22.
Noah may have expected this commence immediately, such is always in our zeal. But in God’s wisdom, there was going to be time to build the ark of salvation to preserve people in the time of the flood, coupled with the need to warn people against the coming doom. The process of preparation will take time. This will sound the warning loud and clear. God made opportunities available for repentance and mercy is a great solicitor that seeks for repentance in the midst of prophesies of doom. It will take patience to get people repented. God’s love and mercy will not be in haste, He must accommodate repentance. If it were possible and all men change their ways as did by the people of Nineveh, God may change his mind, to accommodate this. Also, he must justify His action, and this will require patience.
I am very sure, Noah would have had time to confront God “ we are done” when is the flood coming”. old and young men of his generation may have accused and abused him, But all God wanted in his patience is repentance and when he was done, No one’s plea could get him stopped. The flood was so much, that it took about a year to get it dried. God is not slack about his promise, though He may tarry, wait for him, it will surely come.
When God promised Abraham Terah a son, Isaac and the possession of the land of Canaan, it took God processes to fulfill a credible and long lasting inheritance to the seed of the Abraham. Isaac was not born until 25 years later, why? And the land was not given until several hundreds years after Abraham’s death. Why? In the process, Abraham had to learn couple of things before the promised seed and the promised land.
“ And I will make of thee a great nation and I will bless the and make thy name great, and thou shall be a blessing and I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curses thee and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Why not instantly accomplished? Once God had said it, then, the issue is a concluded matter. However, manifestation may take years; the promise to Abraham Terah was going to take years. More than 25 years for Isaac and several hundred years for his seeds to occupy those lands but in the process of this fulfillment, Abraham Terah was to learn quite from the faithfulness of God.
God promises create platform and opportunity to deal, relate and receive from God. It is a very wonderful parameter to measure the faithfulness of God. On the basis of those promises, was the deal of Abraham service, however, it afforded him to learn the ways to walk with this God and worship Him.
He was to learn
Indeed, the man Abraham learnt so many lessons.
.Shortly, after the pronouncement of the promises and the subsequent fulfillment, Abraham had to learn so many other lessons
Apart from that, Abraham’s household was just too small, even his warrior were just 318 and the land will be too much for them to manage if were given unto him then. So he had to wait.
God had to increase him so that he will be able to manage the land when eventually given to his seeds.
In Gen 14:14 If he was to conquer the land of Canaan. Do you think he will be able to handle the expanse with 318 solders?
As a loving and caring father will not give grenades to his kids, likewise God do consider most time the appropriate time for the handling over of fulfillment to the said promises
In Gen 15:13-15 the Lord confronted him with yet another plan in the process of fulfilling the promise“ … know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs and shall serve them and they shall afflict them four hundred years; also that nation whom they shall serve will I judge and afterward shall they come out with great substance and thou shalt go to thy father in peace and then shall be buried in good old age but in the fourth generation they shall come hither again for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
You can imagine! God had to justify the reason why those inhabitants of the land must be displaced or destroyed; He made provisions for the repentance in the midst of declaration for destruction. He is a just God
In Deuteronomy 7:22 “and the Lord thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.” . God did that to prevent any form of harassment and wild animals at that moment or in the future.
When David was anointed king, God had to take him through some situations and circumstances before he ascended the throne at age thirty. There is the process for every promise of God; this cannot be mathematically modeled out.
God allows your dreams and visions to pass through processes and training, if they must become the worth of blessing to your generation. For Christ to realize the fulfillment of the promise God gave to Abraham in Gen 12 1-3. Time and processes were necessary: suffering, death and resurrection were inevitable.
“ In thee shall all families of the earth be blessed “. It required such a great torment and suffering, the burden of the cross. The fulfillment of this required Him to come in form of a man “ son of man” lived and learned the trade of man for thirty years before the ministry, and for the space of three and half years, he preached, taught and healed many and lastly was tortured, crucified on the cross, bled, died and resurrected
fulfillment necessitated the trip to Calvary and it was a difficult process but Christ fulfilled that for all.
Can you imagine His pains and sorrow while at Gethsemane? Where he rehearsed the suffering, sorrow, torment and anguish, He was to bear in order to fulfill the promise. You know devil made several attempts from the day of Christ’s birth till the time He was hung on the cross; just to abort the process of fulfilling this wonderful promise that brought the whole world into the blessing of God. But praise be to our God, for He worked to fulfill the process and we have today the blessing of redemption.
I am not afraid of any threat given to the kingdom of Christ, there is the process and the executor cannot fail the dream and vision just as the promises of redemption was then accomplished.
Indeed, Joseph had dreams, They were great. But do you think he was competent to handle that feat at that moment?
I do not think so. Between the conception of dream and the fulfillment, there is a space in time. And it depends on God’s discretion and purpose in that dream. There are things to learn along the process, there are understanding to have, there are visions and revelations to have along the way. All these together will aid your right functioning when due.
Joseph did have dreams, but did not right away from inception possess right insight into dream’s interpretation and solution. For that, what the whole world in the future will need so he had to learn that. There are trio of miracle and fulfillment of dream
They are You, God and other. .
You are very prominent and important in the stage of God’s fulfillment, there are some things to learn, there are some instructions to heed and carry out. There are some revelations and visions to understand and there are some dreams and solution to conceive. That is why God is a miracle-working God and not a magician.
If devil could not deceive a man from the right things, the next step is to scheme an intimidation. All he just want to achieve is to hinder temporarily or permanently the process of miracle in the promises of God in that man‘s life
.
Adam and eve enjoyed the constant visitation of God, but had that terminated because , they were deceived by the satan. The Israelite in the wilderness had 40 days journey rescheduled into 40 years wandering in the wilderness. They had to go wandering in the wilderness until all the mighty men were wasted.
Though, we are in the age of instant production. Speed is one very important sales gimmick in the market for many equipment and services. The technology is just moving toward increasing speed but God’s promises and given dreams or visions require Faith, Patience and obedience to process well.
The process of the fulfillment of the blessing can be aborted by couples of agents. Considering the situation in the wilderness. The first among these was sin.
“ Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant how that all our father were under the cloud and all the sea, and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and did, all eat the same spiritual meat; and did all drink the same spiritual drink for they drank of the spiritual rock that followed than and that rock was Christ. But with many of them God was not pleased for they were overthrown in the wilderness I Corinthians 10:1-5 .
The process of possessing Canaan was aborted in some people’s lives; they perished in the wilderness, sins were responsible for the abortion. They lusted, served idols, got involved in immorality, murmur and lastly, unbelief was part of their loads. The process of fulfilling promises can be interrupted. Temporarily or permanently by sin.
Six days of miracles and a day rest can re-schedule to six year of wandering in the wilderness or sixty years of wastages for sin, impatience and ignorance.
How wise are you?
The thought of offering assistance to the Lord is a great mistake and accommodates lots of regrets. Apart from sinning, giving God an helping hand in the portion of His duties is going to mar some parts of His work. It is a very dangerous habit, the habit of “helping the Lord”. it is an embracement on the prowess of God.
How wise are you? When were you born? Who made you and what do you understand in the process of creation? How dare you attempt assistance in things you do not understand their process? You will spoil good work with godly intension with the intrusion of your ignorance.
Sarah did in Gen. 16 and it was a problem she could not cope with. Uzzaih did, and died for it. Fear, pleasure seeking, ignorance and impatience can limit and interrupt the process and time of fulfillment of God’s promises. We need to take good care.
I believe God is merciful, that’s why he is committed to His promises despite us. But the virus of sin, fear, and impatience can utter this beautiful timetable. The Lord promised He was going to scatter them whenever they attempt sins in the book of Deuteronomy and this is applicable to all children of God.
Therefore, it is necessary that we follow through the process of fulfillment of His promises with righteousness, patience wisdom, courage and constantly learning the relevant lessons along the journey. And these all will necessitate among all virtues, the virtue of PATIENCE and OBEDIENCE for God reserves detailed information till the end of fulfillment of promises. This makes testimonies great. Keeping patience as well as obedience no matter the length.
Heb 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Necessity of Patience
In our generation we find it very difficult to plod the road of patience, yet this road is a must for every one that ever will have a promise to claim from God. The duration for fulfillment with respect to a specific promise, differs, but one truth we must get committed into our concept and faith is that , patience is a necessary processor of our various promises, we have to claim from the LORD
Our God will never be impulsive with his promises , though he can be impressed , once these promises are uttered they are backed up with a decree that cannot be changed. "For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself saying surely in blessing I will bless thee. and multiplying I will multiply thee. and so after he had patiently endured he obtained the promise Heb 6:13
Faith get the devil scared
Patience get the devil confused,
It is a way to get him lost in the contest
Wisdom out smart the cunnings of the enemy
Obedience get God keep trusting you
And trust in God at all time, good or bad
Gets devil mad and frustrated.
And the combination of all these is necessary to consolidate our miracle. With respect to God and his words, they are boundless by time and laws. when He is ready, the stage is set and he is set to accomplish his word. He will interrupt all human affairs , suspend the laws of nature that governs that man and moment. He will put all He needs to put on hold to fix up whatever he needs to in the intension of His promises. When all thing is done, He will put things back to normal without the loss of time and hope. If seven years were lost according to your assessment, His fulfillment of promises will justify the time and compensate for all and the Ecc 7:8 will be fulfilled, " Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.”
Will the Lord meet you were He asked you to wait for him?
It is beyond you
God’s promises and instructions are beyond you. It is very mean for God to bless you and take you to your destination but his promises in most cases are beyond all these menial issue of blessing and prosperity for one single person. In the process, before , at and after the fulfillment, you may have the blessing that is embedded in the promise and covenant and instruction God gives, they are intertwined in his purpose and are connected some how to generation of people of God , His kingdom, his people, other people apart from you are involved . His promise is beyond you. For this reason, God had to lay the foundation and direct a formidable structure that will accommodate this intension in all. That must be involved.
God promises, covenants and instructions are beyond your scope, you are only involved, it is a privilege, do not terminate the process because it may affect the future of an organization, family, church and generation. You cannot afford to terminate all these blessings of others for your disobedience, and Impatience .

Testimonies are the image of God’s promises , testimony give us the reason to trust God and learn how God may work.
