Some may say, where is the Lord in this,
is he there, to back you up at all
Well here's the answer, the word did say
I will not let you fall

O' ship how come your still, praising the Lord
Hell's broken loose" it's on your trail
How can you smile in those deep dark waters
and tell me how, will you prevail

For it came upon, some drifting wood
that's troubles, threw in your way
Trying to block off, the pending blessings
but, the ship says, it's ok,

For very soon they will have to move
and your day it will arrive
So just cast it off and count it all joy
tha your God is much alive

This ship will sail right on through
and it will face each storm
And though there be, a many rough waters
but, it won't suffer any harm

It will raise it's mast high and above
and it will wave at the wind
For the Lord and Savior is standing by
to help bring the ship on in

Brave on O' ship, heart filled with joy
let your banners reach the sky
And claim your day, for it's on it's way
for your God will surly be by
