From day to day, many Christians struggle carrying daily heavy burdens they are not supposed to carry. Hence, they become stressed.
Living a stressful life is not the perfect will of God for believers, you can leave the lifestyle of strife and heavy burdens, and embrace a lifestyle of rest. Our Lord Jesus Christ has given you an open invitation to come to Him. He says "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls" (Matthew 11:28-29). He says, “Come boldly to my throne of grace, that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
Beloved, indeed there remains a rest for the people of God (Romans 4:9). A lot of believers have not entered into rest. But as a believer, you can decide today to live daily in God’s divine rest. In Him, you can live, move and have your being (Acts 17:28)
It starts with you trusting the Lord with all of your heart, casting your cares on him and surrendering your all to him (Proverbs 3:5-6; 1 Peter 5:7). It occurs when your heart and soul is fixed on Him (Isaiah 26:3). And when you live everyday praying and giving thanks to the Lord (Philippians 4:6-7). And living a surrendered lifestyle and a life that pleases God (Galatians 2:20; Proverbs 16:7).
I pray for you that from today, you will live in his divine rest every day in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
