In faith, for the one who is weak,
Do not quarrel on opinions;
A common ground that you must seek,
Not to doubtful disputations.

For if one person that believes,
He’s able to eat anything;
The other vegetables conceives,
A compromise that you should bring.

Let not the one who would abstain,
Pass judgment on the one that eats;
Arguments can cause you pain,
No matter if one would eat meats.

One esteems one day as better,
Another esteems all days same;
Each one perceives to the letter,
Fully convinced what they proclaim.

Who are you to judge another,
Before his master stands or falls;
Uphold the Lord for your brother,
Be prepared for when the Lord calls.
