Night's Fight Brings Us Light.
Depression lived deep Down There
is by no means a pleasure ride!
For all inside us that is good and fair
the darkness keeps out of our sight.

Our attention hopelessness will beseech!
Despair's tentacles coiling around our life
Dark thoughts a constant slandering speech
fear's hot grip squeezed out of our own strife!

Neither is the will to cease a stranger's voice.
Indeed a deadly focus can appear to be kind.
For a good ending is denied our rightful choice.
Like so lies' misery takes over our hurting mind.

Yet deaf ears do not hear the sound of our pleas!
Blind eyes wont see what the night has always done.
Where even when our darkest hour us did tease,
it had to give way to The Light of Morning sun.

While meeting here is the living proof we overcame.
Those times beating us down found our voice again.
How can the dark ever keep us from seeing daylight?
Such a feat depressive mindset cannot rightly explain.
