Who believes what He has heard,
To whom has the Lord revealed;
It is written in the Word,
As it has been signed and sealed.

Her grew up like a young plant,
Like a root out of dry ground;
No regal form to enchant,
No beauty that would abound.

He was a man of sorrow,
Despised being rejected;
But faith looked to tomorrow,
The Father has elected.

He has borne all our griefs,
And carried our sorrow;
Afflicted by His beliefs,
Walking the straight and narrow.

He was pierced for our sin,
And our iniquities;
Chastised to let peace begin,
And strengthened moralities.

We are sheep that gone astray,
The Lord laid our transgressions;
Everyone in His own way,
Spares the wrath through confessions.
