A Great Chasm

“But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ Luke 16:25-26 NIV

Although this comes from a parable which Jesus tells, I certainly do believe there is no passage way between heaven and hell, allowing anyone to go to the other. Now, why would anyone want to leave heaven to go to hell? I can certainly see the opposite though, when someone realizes they are spending eternity in torment for not having believed in God’s Only Son as savior from an eternity without God. Let us pray for all lost souls, that they find Jesus Crist before it is to late. Let every lost lamb be found that there may be extreme joy in heaven.
