Far too often many focus on prosperity
When they need to get busy cherishing
Analyze their surroundings to acquire more clarity
To not take things for granted as time is perishing

Instead of looking for the next best thing
Let's enjoy what's already been obtained
Stop fixating on getting more chains and rings
Appreciate the health that was there for all that was gained

Time progresses at an alarming rate these days
Lots of changes take place so suddenly
Chaos flows and patience wears thin as war is in play
Nothing getting settled as leaders want to fulfill their gluttony

Hazardous to the rest of us trying to move forward
Wishing to experience an element of peace
So the goals we have are more straightforward
We just want the unnecessary challenges to cease

At the same time we have to realize it's about the unseen
Everything that is in sight isn't the whole picture
There's many antics and tactics putting rifts in between
Which is why it is important to get familiar with scripture
