God is our refuge and strength,
Very present help in trouble;
To persevere at any length,
In catching me when I stumble.

We won’t fear if the earth gives way,
Though the mountains move to the sea;
Causing trees to fall as they sway,
All the creatures begin to flee.

Though the waters will roar with waves,
Though the mountains tremble and swell;
My faith is strong and as it paves,
I will stand on His rock to dwell.

For there is a river whose streams,
Make glad the city of the Lord;
Holy habitation as it seems,
Of the Most High who is adored.

God is in the center of town,
At the place where the morning dawns;
He is wearing a keen white gown,
In the river passing of swans.
