Remember Jesus Christ,
Was risen from the dead;
That had been sacrificed,
The Gospel you were fed.

For which I do suffer,
And been bounded with chains;
But Jesus does buffer,
As the God’s Word proclaims.

I endure everything,
All for the elect’s sake;
For all that it will bring,
The salvation to make.

If we have died with Christ,
In eternal glory;
Then we have been enticed,
Trusting in His story.

To endure we will reign,
Then we won’t be denied;
Forever free from pain,
Eternal life applied.

If we become faithless,
And we will believe not;
We will become baseless,
Without purpose be sought.
