Due mainly to the last week in hospital, where I was put on what I have described as the mad ward and most people who visited have admitted they would have discharged themselves, I have been looking at peace. It being a magnificent gift which God gives ùs in periods of such intense stress that we know it could only have come Him. I've experienced this unexplainable a few times throughout my 45yrs and each time it has been needed and unforgettable!!! Peace is holding Jesus' hands. It's breathing in His powerful name and surrendering to the knowledge that it could only have come from Him. J
The other type peace God offers is a moment by moment type of peace, that comes in the form of the shoes of peace. Something we chose to put on. Our God isn't a shoes salesman who has that particular piece of His armour ready laces untied before we've even sat down. If we do decide we want His peace, we just have to breathe His name and they're on, the perfect size, the perfect colour. Perfect peace from the God who knows you, loves you, because He made you. In order to get His peace, the only one that's real, we need to put down our fears, surrender our worries and give God the steering wheel too our lives.
People can tell when you have that kind of peace. It shines from you. You glow with God's presence.
