I’ve tried and I’ve tried
And I’ve Tried Again
But when all is done
What’s left to be said, But?

No, I Can’t Make It On My Own

It’s so hard to be left as one
Wandering day to day
Under the hot sun

I need a guide to help me through
To give me water
Show me what to do

I can’t make it my own
I’ve tried and I’ve tried
And I’ve Tried Again
But when all is done
What’s left to be said, But?

I Can’t Make It On My Own
No, I Can’t Make It On My Own

It took me years to understand
That God is my guide
He walks with me, side by side
His love I feel, it comforts me
Lets me know, Helps me to see

That I can’t make it my own
I’ve tried and I’ve tried
And I’ve Tried Again

But when all is said
When all is done
I will stand with God’s Son
