The kingdom of God is brought near to us as Jesus Christ lived on this earth. Remember He told those of His time that the kingdom of God was near. The early church, led by the spirit filled disciples became the beginning of what is now many Christians throughout the world, living the will of God. This compares to the yeast mixed into the dough and then growing. The kingdom of God has been made known to many and its residents increase as each newly reborn individual comes to Jesus Christ.
