The fruits are ripe, and ready now to pluck
after being tested, all way through
Also they were primed, pruned and proven
now watch what the anointing will do

Sometimes it was like, being on a ship
while waves were tossing high
Then on battle fields where arrows flew
and had no one on your side

But I did not accept, any kind of armor
for some was too heavy to wear
I wanted something, to pull the devils tooth
that power that you can't compare

The carnal weapons, this soldier did not tote
no fighting words, did I choose to use
Instead, chose to go out, with joy and peace
and any other, my soul did refuse

Now if it don't fit' don't wear it;
but let grace and mercy help thee
And pray to have a willing strong heart
so victory the soul will see

Now we may not posses any silver platters
or any rose's thrown in our bed
But what we do have, no money can't buy
it's God who makes us be the head

Say, move out the way O' mountains
give space, ye valley's below
For the season has come and right on time
because, his word told me so
