But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers. Luke 12:45-46 NIV

And, so what happens to one who is in charge of a ministry for the Lord, who chooses not to be faithful to his responsibility to the Lord? Such a one will not just be demoted in their ministry. No, they will be treated by the Lord as if they were an unbeliever. To deceive or mislead the flock of the Lord is a very serious thing. If you are not with the Lord, then you are against Him. If you have a leadership position take it very seriously. Always seek the Lord for guidance. The evil one shall do all he can to trick you so that you will misguide those whom you lead. Remain firm and steadfast in your commitment to the Lord. A leader who does not lead as the Lord would have him shall definitely be punished for wrong doning.
