"Wow, you are blessed with such a sweet and caring little sister." Judith beamed at Dina, then looked at Paul. "Did you say she was praying for you?"
"Yeah."
"Are you Christians?"
"Yep."
"Wonderful! So am I! My parents and I attend a church that's all the way across town, so we're looking for a place that's closer to us. Which church do you attend?"
"We attend the Living Word Bible Church. It's non-denominational," Paul replied.
"Wow! That's the church my family and I have our eyes on! Is it a good church?"
"It's a great church. Dina and I have attended that church our whole lives. Pastor Wes Cavanaugh always teaches from God's Word. His perspective is one hundred percent Biblical."
"That's great!" Judith exclaimed.
"Are you the answer to my prayers?" Dina suddenly blurted out.
Judith looked at Dina."What do you mean?" she asked.
"Well, I've been saying two prayers for my brother. I prayed for Jesus Christ to help him to be happy again, and I prayed that he would find a nice girl. You're really nice."
"Why, thank you, Dina. So are you."
"Thanks."
Paul blushed out of sheer embarrassment. He was definitely not expecting this. "I don't know what's gotten into my little sister," he said as he looked apologetically at Judith. "I'm sorry if she made you feel uncomfortable."
"Oh, no, not at all," Judith replied. "I'm actually flattered that Dina thinks so highly of me."
Paul looked at Judith more intensely. She was very beautiful. Her long, golden hair flowed down her back. Her eyes were as blue as a robin's egg. Dina could tell by the expression on her brother's face that he had feelings for Judith. She smiled broadly.
Paul suddenly turned his gaze away. He was attracted to Judith, but he was a bit hesitant. Since he didn't know she'd had a crush on him for years, he wasn't sure if Judith felt the same way about him.
"Judith, I'm going to be in a ballet production at the Paramount Theatre," Dina announced. "My class and I are doing some of Baryshnikov's dance moves. Do you want to come?"
Paul had never seen his little sister be so bold as to try to set him up with a girl. "Uh, Dina, Judith might have other plans."
"Sure!" Judith exclaimed with delight. "I'd love to come! I love Baryshnikov!"
"Great!" Dina jumped up and down for joy.
