Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. John 20:8 NIV

Do you wonder exactly what it is that John believed? Luke 24:11 tells us that the disciples did not believe what the women told them as they thought their words were nonsense. Maybe John did believe and did not say anything when the other disciples showed disbelief. We cannot be sure.

But before we point the finger at the doubt of the disciples, let us ask ourselves if we ever have doubts about the Lord. They may not be concerning His divinity or that He did rise from the dead, but may relate more to how much He cares about us and will help us. Is Jesus too busy in Heaven to help us? Far from it. He does care about us and will help us, just know that it might not be in the way you expect or want. He knows what is best for you and will take care of you. What you must do is trust in Him. Remember that He brought you out of the grave!
