When Violence Reigns: The Days of Noah Are Unfolding in Our Time

 There is a sobering verse in Scripture: “As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming of the Son of man.” (Luke 17:26) What were the days of Noah like? The Bible tells us: “Every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5). Violence filled the earth, and the Lord saw that mankind’s wickedness abounded, prompting the flood that destroyed “the world that then was” (2 Peter 3:6).

Today’s headlines confirm that we are entering those dire waters again.

Since the founding of the Federal Reserve in 1913, the world has been seized by conflict after conflict. But in our generation, the violence has become more grotesque and blasphemous. On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk, conservative activist and voice of Christian conservatism, was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University. The suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, has been charged with aggravated murder, but the FBI and our government's story makes no sense at all when you consider that the weapon supposedly used was a .30-06.  Such a weapon, experts tell us would have severed much of Charlie's neck.  Breaking down the rifle and reassembling it was an impossible task that only the naive would believe.  Regardless, this political hit was planned. It wasn’t an accident. Some are calling it a political assassination, and we are told that, as a result of this murder, more violence has resulted.

Kirk is one among many. We remember JFK, Martin Luther King Jr., and Robert Kennedy—men shot because their voices threatened the powerful. Now, in this era, the same pattern resurfaces. Violence is no longer confined to war zones; it strikes in auditoriums, arenas, and on college campuses.

In Noah’s day, the hearts of the people were continually evil. In Matthew 24:37, we read: "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

 In Genesis 6:5, "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."

Our culture is saturated in fiction and fantasy that mocks God and elevates darkness.

Stephen King novels, satanic occult stories, Harry Potter films, wicked cartoons, and YouTube content glorifying sin; these are the cultural manifestations of a mind unmoored from God. Churches often shrug this off as entertainment. But Scripture warns that the heart is the wellspring of life (Proverbs 4:23). If you fill that well with darkness, the flood will soon overwhelm.

Shows like Black Mirror don’t just entertain; they dissect the human psyche with surgical precision, peeling back layers of civility to expose our obsession with control, chaos, and corrupted technology. These aren't harmless stories — they're a mirror, and what stares back at us is monstrous.

But it doesn't stop there.

Venture into the dark alleys of the internet — those hidden forums, cryptic threads, and niche subcultures where the macabre is normalized. There, twisted humor, violent fantasies, and occult overtones aren’t just tolerated — they’re celebrated. Wickedness has found its own algorithms.

Art galleries? Some now double as temples of shock, dripping with horror imagery meant to disturb, provoke, and even pervert. Musicians push past the envelope of expression into raw rebellion against beauty, harmony, and God Himself.

This is more than creativity gone wild. It’s a cultural siren song — luring minds deeper into an abyss where good is mocked, evil is aestheticized, and the soul is numbed.

The imagination of man, once the wellspring of invention, has become a playground for darkness.

And it begs the question: Are we watching the unraveling — or participating in it?

 Scripture warns that before the Second Advent, there will be a falling away (apostasy) (2 Thessalonians 2:3). That apostasy is not in the future—it’s here. Many modern churches have morphed into megachurch businesses. Pastors preach the gospel of prosperity rather than the Cross. False teachers exalt wealth, name-it-claim-it theology, and sugarcoat sin. Think of names many know: Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, T. D. Jakes, Paula White—preachers who promise comfort instead of confrontation. Where once the pulpit thundered repentance, today too many echo the crowd.

Noah was warned 120 years before the Flood (Genesis 6:3). In my timeline, I have speculated and placed 1913 + 120 = 2033 as the potential return of the Lord. 

In 1913, the Federal Reserve was created at Jekyll Island, Georgia.  It was made up of International Banksters with the purpose of protecting their interests although the official story is that it was created to provide stability to our banking system.

Keep in mind the Fed is how we funded World War I, created the Great Depression, WW2, the Korean War, and Vietnam War, and all the other wars.  It is a license to print or create money.  Thus, we have inflation, and I suspect we will have hyper-inflation as foretold in holy scripture. 

In Revelation chapter 6, the opening of the third seal describes a situation that many interpret as a time of economic hardship or inflation. In the King James Version, it says:

 "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo, a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." 

 I'll probably be wrong about the Lord coming in 2033, after all, nobody has guessed the date correctly yet, but I've been wondering if the Lord's patience is running out, and just when might we expect Jesus to return. Be assured that time does have an end, and we are living in perilous times when men are lovers of themselves, as mentioned by Timothy, and people all over the world are seeking to get rich by various means.  Hard work is out, and easy money is the talk of the town.

Whether or not that exact date holds, the pattern is clear—God gives warnings, then brings judgment. The Bible tells us the first world perished by water; the next will be by fire—“the heavens and the earth which are now are reserved for fire … the day of the Lord will come as a thief” (2 Peter 3:7, 10). The wicked who refuse God’s mercy will face total destruction, or, as some interpret, annihilation.

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power." (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9)

If you read these lines, this is for you. It’s not just history repeating—you are living in it. The signs are everywhere: violence, corruption, apostasy, wicked imaginations. Turn to the Lord while there is time. Repent of your pride, your self-centeredness, your sins. Cry out to Jesus: “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved” (Acts 16:31). He alone rescues when the wrath comes.

We are not without hope. Even in Noah’s day, eight souls were saved through faith (1 Peter 3:20). The same grace remains. Seek Him. Call upon Him. Let your life be a lamp shining in the darkness. The days are evil, but the Light is nearer now than when we first believed.
