Dina snuggled in her brother's arms and fell asleep. Paul gently kissed his little sister's temple and turned off the light. Still holding Dina close, he asked Jesus to help his little sister to always remember that he meant everything he just said. He soon began to snore the night away. His arms were still around his little sister when he fell asleep. This would be his last night on Earth. He wanted to make sure that the last hug he gave the apple of his eye was a really long hug.

When the first ray of sunlight shone in Paul's face the next morning, Paul was very disappointed that he had woken up. I thought You said that my troubles would soon be over, Lord, he prayed silently. Paul decided right then and there that he had waited too long for Jesus Christ to take his soul. If God wouldn't take his soul, Paul decided he would take matters into his own hands by committing suicide! He looked out the window. I just need to decide on a day, a time, and a way to do it, Paul thought to himself. Once I have a plan, I'm going to end it all and never suffer again. After all, I received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord, God, and Savior when I was four years old. I know I will definitely go to Heaven when I die. The sooner I leave this miserable life on Earth, the better.
