I guess may be God is weak and limited like human. Is that really a good Guess!
But the Bible is littered with many accounts and testimonies of great acts of wonders, from Genesis :creation to the Revelations. There are several accounts of miracles and mighty deliverances recorded. Christians in the past ages have their accounts full of what God can do and they were really blessed with the wonders of God. I know My God still work miracles and we have testimonies in this present generation as well. But let us compare these with the present revelations and power the church is blessed with or the number of Christian groups that are in the making or have been established. Let us compare miracles signs and wonders to the revelations and mighty outpouring of the Holy Ghost the father of peace has promised us and His fulfilling
Why is God scarce in the midst of His children?
Why is our pulpit too cold to confront many deceptions and intimidation of the devil in this generation?
The account of the creation has really placed God absolutely great yet many cannot justified that with what possibly they are facing now and such may contemplate in joining some groups of scientist or atheist to strip God the authorship of the heaven and the earth including all creatures and the account of the creation and miraculous deliverances and healings in History.
Is God’s really weak?
Miracle is as real as God Himself. Miracle is natural with God; God performs these with relative ease that any one can imagine. Any thing that is named in God is an embodiment of miracle. Miracles are God’s provision to the problems of men.
Indeed, God loves and compassionate, However, He is God of business who has reasons and rules for his operations. God is yearning to meet the needs of His children. God daily loads His beloved with blessing.
It is very important that we point out that as great as God is and as natural as miracle is, some will not enjoy them or some will only have partial experience of miracle.
Why this? Why was Cain cursed and Abel blessed. Why were Noah and his family miraculously saved and multitude died in the flood? Why were many barren women given children but micah did not have one, why? Why did some flourished in famine and some died even in the midst of plenty?
This we must note:
God’s miracle can be hindered, prolonged and can be missed!
Not all sick men and women in the days of Christ had their problems solved. Why? Despite the volume of Christ miracles, in the space of three and half ministry, not every one did received their miracles.
Indeed God remains God and his power is as great as like the time of creation yet human attitude can limit the working of miracles and these all together hunt the degree and numbers of miracle and spectaculars that our generation should have.
“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot saves neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face form you, that he will not hear”
Isaiah 59:1-3
THE FIRST WEAKNESS OF GOD:
UNLAWFUL PRAYERS
The first weakness of God is unlawful prayers that we willing or angrily send to the alter of God. When exactly are we going to learn on how to pray aright?
“ Where do wars and fight come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have you murder and covet and cannot obtain you fight and war yet you do not have because you do not ask you ask and do not receive because you ask amiss that you may spend it upon you lust James 4: 1-3

Praying amiss is the first weakness of God. God is willing to bless us but when we posses a wrong motive in our request, God may not grant such desire!
Praying amiss is simply praying with a wrong motive and intension or praying against the will of God.
Complete deviation from the pattern of praying, Render Him weak about the issue, as He wouldn’t violate His words. God may condone our ignorance for a while, but this cannot be done always. Most of the time, we compel God to act against His will and the best we can obtain without His will is frustration.
Often time in our prayers, we’ve only come to either murmur or accuse God and some times, we do act as an informant, praying or asking Him to ignore procedure and His word. It is very difficult for God to neglect His words more so when you are not doing it well, as rightly commanded in the word of God. There are rules governing things in life. There are rules governing the communion with God and making of request from God.
“Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear; than to give sacrifice of fools, for they consider not that they do evil be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter anything before God: for God is in heaven and thou upon earth therefore let thy words be few”. Eccl. 5:2.
If all our prayers were answered, we would have experienced lack on this planet earth. Many are prayers ignited by suspicions, which are speedily posted to heaven, and anxiously expecting answers. Many are the ignorantly propelled prayers, prayers from the deep mine of bitterness, malice and hatred, dangerously flashing their lights to heaven seeking for answers from God. If He should, I suspect serious throbbing on earth. If all our selfish, covetous and envious prayers were answered the whole world will be in serious pandemonium. If all critical and revengeful prayers should be answered, I wonder the degree of perpetration of evil that we will witness.
But thanks to God;
He do subject the prayer to the matter of necessities and needs. He reads them, discovers what the state of our minds are and subjects them to the motive; felt and unfelt needs. Also, He considers the timing alongside. Why would some prayers be answered and some would not?
Forms Of Prayers
Ask and shall be given to you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened into you Mt. 7;7.
There is a great deviation from this instruction in John 16:25 the injunction is ask in the name of Jesus. Any other format set up won’t do just what the Lord intends as well can do. In mark 11:23-24
“Whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray believe that ye have then”
But many believer do not follow this pattern, but rather we murmur, regret, accuse and give God ultimatum. God sometimes may condone our ignorance, but He cannot do this always. In most of our prayers, we compel God to act against His word. And here is God, who honours His words more than His name. There is no name on earth except Jesus name, by which we must pray not even the name of God Himself because Jesus is God.I have heard many killing devil and the spirit in their prayers. Jesus never once even prayed that stuff. He only bound, cast out and forbade, he subdued them and tormented them; where do we learn ours? Many times, we sentence our persecutors to death, when his word commands prayer for them. We have made many wrong songs out of our vain repetition, all we can receive against out of His will, is frustration and sorrow.
Pray in the Holy Ghost, if we do not pray according to his will. It will be praying and waiting the whole eternity over some issues
A prayer that must be answered must fulfil set of rules compiled out in the scripture. With whose name do you pray? What are your reasons, backed up by the scripture or stirred up by envy, vain comparison and jealousy? The attorney in the law court is rendered weak to set a man free if does not fulfil the set rule that is due for his release. In many cases, we do not fulfil all it takes for our prayers to be answered and God is not partial, though He is merciful but He will not violate is Words. There is the place of mercy and there is the place of fulfilling God’s promises. Though mercy and favour may get us some things we do not really merit, but God’s favour and mercy can be rendered weak in the medium that negate His will.
The Bible says the fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much”. The desire of the righteous shall be granted. The prayer of the righteous cannot be denied although may be delayed because God also test righteous prayers, and subject the answer to the right time. “for ye have need of patience that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise Heb 1:7.
The righteous cannot be denied “And whatsoever we ask we receive of him because we keep his commandments and so those things that are pleasing in his sight.
SECOND WEAKNESS OF GOD
UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
“ Behold the Lord’s hand is not shortened that He cannot save , nor his ear heavy that it cannot hear but you sins have hidden his face form you. So that He will not hear Isaiah” 59:1
Sin is the grandpa and the captain of hindrances to miracle. If you want to drive God away from your midst; sin will do that for you with ease .sin will drive you away from the garden of exploit, provision, protection and miracles. Sin will leave you cursed and quickly ushered you into the way of destruction. Sin is a sure killer that will terminate you and present you unripe for calamity and destruction.
unrighteousness weakens the Lord. That was the experience of the Israelite when they went into idol worshipping. Why is God scarce in some gatherings? why is miracle scanty while miracle is common with God? Miracle is His culture. Many gathering are better called Ichabod: the glory is departed; there will be scarcity of the wonder of God in an environment or life when sins are predominant and unrighteousness is the culture.
In the book of judges, most times Israel forsook God then calamity troubles and degree and confiscation and destruction often visit them. Just like Adam and eve, sins will remove the glory of protection a Christian enjoys.
The eyes of this God is too holy to behold or accommodate iniquity therefore such environment cannot accommodate Him and His work. He left Joshua and the Israelite alone when Achan committed sin so likewise God will be absent where evil prevails. the simple definition of evil is absence of God. There is the place of mercy and there is the place of fulfilling God’s promises. Though mercy and favour may get us what we do not really merit but God’s favour and mercy can be rendered weak by iniquity. It is difficult for God to operate in the medium of sin or something that ordinarily look like sin! God can be rendered impotent by sin!
Where ever or any form of unrighteousness is found, God’s words and power are hindered. Moses broke the tablet of the law received from the mount and the children of Israel were hindered from receiving the revelation of God at that moment just because of the sin of idolatry. Many gatherings of Christians are devoid of God’s manifestation and visitation because sins have flooded such gathering. God is made weak by little or many small or great sins because His eye is too holy to behold iniquity.
And the signs and wonders and advertisement will only be limited to the postal bill just because of little or great iniquities that were allowed in the midst of the children of God
ANOTHER WEAKNESS OF GOD IS UNBELIEF
Unbelief is a grievous sin and God has not treated this little. it is the underrating God and His wisdom. Take note, anywhere this is found, God is restricted from working beyond your thought. who sever you belittle will not have an ultimate authority over you, you can choose to obey or ignore him, you can abuse him without fear. Unbelief is simply the act that tag God a fool and powerless. It is a grievous sin and has hindered generations of people to forget and neglect their possession. It has hindered many from entering into their rest. It has hindered many from receiving their miracles and testimonies.
by unbelief, you make God weak over the matter of your life. By you exalt your problems and difficulties.
The lord Jesus Christ did very little mighty works because of these unbelief and
“He did not many mighty works these because of their unbelief” Matthew 13;58
Generations of pilgrims were wasted in the wilderness because of unbelief
“ We see that they could not enter in because of unbelief “Heb 34; 19
The common sense faith and the unbelief are viruses in God’s programs “ yes there is nothing difficult for Him but he attached to this a condition “ if you believe” we have received little less from God’s abundant provision Because of these viruses.
The God that came upon the hopeless and empty earth and commanded garnishing creatures to deplore their beauties on the earth and call light out of the prevalent felt darkness has been clogged in our various situations by the common sense faith and unbelief. His speed has been reduced and His course has been deviated from. many nations are unsaved, sinners are unbroken and miracles are scarce because of this unbelief.
Dwelling outside His venue of miracle no matter how fruitful your land is, if God had commanded you to leave the place, it is from that day, a dangerous place for your choice. No matter how dangerous and dry a place is, it becomes safest and most fruitful place, when He has commanded it. It is very important to dwell in the venue, atmosphere of miracle.
Unbelief: this cancerous disease of the heart that will hinder the movement of God it accommodates poverty, untimely death, calamities and sorrows. Jesus Christ was unable to perform miracles in some places because of their unbelief.

ANOTHER WEAKNESS OF GOD
Where are the faithful men who can bear His mantle of anointing who with love can carry the power of God? Men that will be driven by compassion and love to seek by all means those that are lost and languishing ins pains of sins and sorrow. The true confidant to fulfil Luke 4;18. men and women that will do that same way and thing that Jesus will do.
“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none”. Eze 22:30
The men that can carry God’s anointing are really scarce. Miracle is common with God but where are the anointing carrier in this generation of ours. If all Christians should have great possession of God’s anointing, we cannot exhaust his power. But only few men are really qualified to step beyond mere creed and practices into the court of exploit. Only few men have not hindered God ministry by mere religious activities- cumbering the ground!
God constantly seek men and women who can stand in the gap of power and connect His miraculous hand with men on earth through intercession and supplication. We have not seen the least of the portion of the power that God has set aside for this generation. if there be men who can tarry in the mount and wait for the manifestation of the almighty God, we will witness his wonderful visitation as did in the book of Ex 19. He is willing to pay us constant visit but there is need for men who could herald his coming as well as prepare men for the visitation, as did Moses. There is the need for men who could have that God’s kind of faith and take His instruction. Then God mighty hands will not be scarce in our midst. Where are the men to connect the hand of miracle of God to people? Where are the men to set the stage of exploit? He is looking for them. In the absence of these men, the degree of God’s mercy, power favour and might may be reduced. He is thirsting for the men who may stand in the gap to intercedes in prayer and sincerely bring the hand of God down. It is necessary, that we bring the hand of God down, but faithful men of faith are indeed needed.
God is yearning from above to let loose the wonders from heaven and you are really needed to carry a portion of this !
Men’s disobedience to God’s instruction is sinful. no matter how great is your understanding of the scripture or number of hours spent on your kneels, your obedience is better than sacrifice. God has no problem with means Nor with dreams. But the only need he has is the men; Who may have His perfect understanding To believe His instructions And implement faithfully these instructions. With such men, He can go fold His hands For they will never fail, those instructions won’t fail
Hypocrisy is another evil virtue that hinders the living God.
He needs no hypocrite nor mere religious men and women but faithful intercessor that must have communed well with Lord and charged with power of the mighty God. Hypocrisy. You cannot be fully committed to something else and expect God’s miracle. Your money and wealth cannot bribe God and squeeze miracles out of Him.
Smith wiggles worth stated, “ I believe that all our failure comes because of an imperfect understanding of God’s words.”
You are going to receive blessing from God far better and faster through an absolute and unquestionable trust in the Lord than trust emanating from testing God. don’t set test for God, many atheists ignorantly confirmed their concept by setting unreasonable test for God. Who are you to mark the test sheet of God? It hinders the working of god. If you pronounced to the whole world that God is not God: does it really make any impact? It does not make God you. He remains God, with or without your confirmation.
ATTITUDE TO HOLY GHOST
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” Act 1 :8

What a great blessing the Holy Ghost is to us in this generation but how cooperative are we to Him. Rather Given Him the control, most time we have hijack the control from Him and try to use Him when He ought to use us. He is not more than mere forceful wind in some gatherings. But we never can prove the wonder of God until to this comforter we are fully yielded. Until Holy Spirit is given His rightful position in the church, there will be scarcity of God’s miracle in the midst of His children. He had meekly step out of many congregation we have rudely treated Him and for this, miracle is scarce.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy spirit and with power who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him
the power to do good in this comforter.
God does not need miracle. But you need it in this world of great calamity. That is the provision He has installed in the program of life. The purpose of miracle is to increase your faith, edify and meet needs of all men. Products of miracle are real and quality testimonies out live them.. Miracle is a product of unreachable wisdom of God. There are many ways God may choose to solve a similar problem, God uses discretion based on purpose, environment and availability and resources.
Miracles are not scarce commodities but the faith to receive them is scarce and the men; intermediary to represent God of miracle are scarce also we receive miracle based on the extent to which we permit the Holy Ghost.
