Roots Stay Where You've Been Planted

This is what He (our Savior) has given us. This is what He has done for us. I heard these words repeatedly, over and over and over. The Lord wants us to know Him, for He knows us. He is a personal God. He so wants us to know the Father. He so wants us to know the Holy Spirit. He so wants us to know His love. You see, when you were born again, you were born of the Spirit of God. You switched sides and was sealed by the Holy Spirit. What happened is the LORD delivered you from the power of darkness and He translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son. (Jesus, Yeshua the Savior). At that very moment you began to grow new roots. You became rooted in Christ. You began to grow roots in and be grounded in faith in Him. You began to be rooted and established in His love. Our roots are being nourished by the words and teaching of the Lord. Now, that’s being rooted.

You are now like a tree, a tree planted by the waters, whose trust is in Jesus (Yeshua) for sustenance; for salvation, for deliverance and healing in every area of your life, for all things; because you have learned, and you know, that His word is true and he has promised and will perfect all  things that concerns your salvation.  “Salvation is found in no one else. For there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts: 9:12 kjv

Meditate on this:

The Father  “…hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (brought us into covenant with his Son): In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.  you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled  In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven…” Colossians 1:13-23 kjv 

If the above describes being scripturally rooted, what is not having root in yourself?  Below is another poem for you to ponder that the Holy Spirit gave me a few months ago for you to consider: 

I’ve planted you in Righteousness.

I’ve planted you in Peace.
I’ve planted you in Holiness.
I’ve planted you in Me.
Stay where you’ve been planted.

So, Nurture the Root

Through Christ the Living Water. Be that tree planted by the waters who trusts in the LORD. 

Are you finding it hard to walk because of turbulent winds?  If you have found yourself in a place, a place of instability in your walk with Christ. If you're walking and the winds are blowing around you, and you're feeling as though you are stumbling. The answer is in choosing Christ. The answer is to go to the Living Water and believe in Him.  In each situation, choose the Anointed One. Set the root of your heart in Jesus (Yeshua). Water the root of your heart in Him. So that you are rooted in him, and your roots in him will grow deep. Water the roots by spending time in His Word. By spending time in fellowship and prayer to the Father. Spend time in fellowship and community with each other. Dear wonderful Saints, in times of question, trial and trouble remember to nurture your roots. Believe in Jesus (Yeshua).  Live for Him and in him. Amen 

“I am the Bread of Life.  Whoever comes to Me, will never hunger and whoever believes in Me will never thirst.” John 6:35

"Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life." John 4:14

If you would like to drink of the Living Water, all you have to do is ask.  Just as Jesus told the woman at the well, if you knew who you were talking to, you would ask for this water.  And she asked him for the water He provides.  For He is spiritual sustenance.  He gives life eternal and quenches the deepest thirst of the soul.

So, you personally ask Him and He will quench your dry thirsty soul with Living Water that will spring forth from your belly.
