Prophecy

The Savior is returning soon.  He is coming back.  He is coming for a bride without spot or blemish.  I am so thankful that the Father by His Spirit works in us to both will and do his good pleasure, and His pleasure is for us to be like Him.  Meditate on this please! “His pleasure is for us to be like Him.”  To be like our Savior Yeshua (Jesus) who is  the Lamb of God that has no spots or blemishes, and who takes away the sins of the world. There is no evil in his thinking.  There is no darkness in his ways.  There is no evil in his heart towards us. There is no guile or deception in the words that come from his mouth.  We must be like Him.

Picture this: 

Day in and day out we are challenged with thoughts of good and bad that we hear, mostly that are targeted towards our hearts and minds.  Some of these thoughts are weapons by design for a designated end.  Is this in our thinking, or are these thoughts or might I say arrows aimed towards our thoughts, from the enemy?  Which thoughts should we hear?  Which thoughts should we adhere to and follow?  The answer to this is to listen to and adhere to the words and teachings and instruction of the Lord; in all things (which is His helmet of Salvation for us to wear), and to guard our hearts (guard, keep, watch-over and protect), with all diligence because out of it flows the issues of life.

As prefaced before in my other articles, I state this word from the Lord in the same way.  Please take care in how you hear and perceive the Word of God.  Please care about how you listen, and perceive His instruction in all of your life.  Examine please, the condition of your heart; because through the way you receive, is how you believe, and determine whether you decide to heed Christ’s Words, or will you harden your heart so that you may retain your own beliefs, bringing His to non-effect? Please obey his words.  The condition of the heart and whether you are willing to yield to his doctrine is measured.  I am writing this to you in humbleness.  The Lord has been working on this and humbling me in this now for weeks, and so I come to you with this voice in humility, realizing and knowing how human I am, and what battles we face daily.

Make a conscious decision in Christ, to attend to the soil of your heart; that is the condition of your heart, to be diligent in recognizing what needs to be removed (stones or roots that may choke out the Word of God and cause you to stumble.  Be assured, if you are willing, the Holy Spirit will reveal these things to you.  This is what the Spirit has been showing me and encourages me to look further as well as check the condition of my heart when praying, studying or communing with the Father.

Ask yourself: Am I receptive or am I judging the word and attempting to make the word mean something that it is not saying.  This is Religious Ingenious Conjecture, and is something we must be leery of.  Be encouraged by these words from Yeshua which is to watch how you hear: 

“A Lamp Under A Basket” 

“And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel,

or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?

For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested;

neither was anything kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

if any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear:

with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you:

and unto you that hear shall more be given.

For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not,

from him shall be taken even that which he hath.”  Mark 4:21-25 kjv

And now to the meat of the subject: The words we hear, and what we receive at the ear gate. 

Below are two verses found in the four gospels where Yeshua addresses gates (your hearing).  Look and see.  What do you see? Ponder and meditate on these scriptures. Open your hearts and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you.  Allow Him to teach you.  Allow him to lead you and to give you the mind of Christ.

Here is the first scripture.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:  

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Mt. 7:13-14 kjv

(Is this metaphorical in explanation of experiences at the gates of your ears and eyes that is: of your hearing what you should and should not listen to, and your seeing that which you see and should not be seeing. Of which you may be taking heed of  instead of hearing and seeing the ways of the Kingdom of God?)

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” Luke 13:24 kjv

(Again, metaphorical.  Speaking of the Kingdom of God, and not being able to enter into the strait gate because they are not able to recognize that strait gate)

Here are the Master’s words concerning the strait gate.

And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.”   Luke 13:22-28 kjv

Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, (again, a literal physical gate)

A Brief Explanation Of Gates 

We stand before gates every day; throughout the day. When we reflect on scriptural references of men, elders and judges sitting at the gates, the scripture is referencing something very distinct in their way of life.

Men, judges and elders would sit at the gates with the purpose of community; to see what's going on with their community (economically, socially, politically and morally), and they would consider what is acceptable and what is not acceptable.  This was not just the custom for Israel, but for most nations in their region.  For example of the story of Esther, when Mordecai frequented the king’s gates, and in turn learned of the conspiracy to kill the king.  He sat at a gate.  He heard and listened.  He then received and forwarded what he had heard to Queen Esther 2:19-23 and Eshter 3:1-15 (Note: He delivered this information to someone who could do something about it.  Just as we should go to the Father with things that we have heard.  Go and learn from the Spirit what to do.  Be anxious for nothing… Phil 4:6-7)

A detailed example of this is found in Chapter 13 of 1Kings.  See if you can see how the information received and processed by the prophet affected him. 

A Prophet of God Confronts Jeroboam

1Kings 13:1-10  And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. ² And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee. ³ And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out. ⁴ And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him. ⁵The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD. ⁶And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before. ⁷And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward. ⁸And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place: ⁹For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest. ¹⁰So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel. 

This  Prophet's Disobedience

1Kings 13:11-34  ¹¹Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father. ¹²And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah. ¹³And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon, ¹⁴And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am. ¹⁵Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread. ¹⁶And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place: ¹⁷For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest. ¹⁸He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. ¹⁹So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water. ²⁰And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back: ²¹And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment    the LORD thy God commanded thee, ²²But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water

in the place, of the which the LORD did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers. ²³ And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back. ²⁴And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase. ²⁵And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt. ²⁶And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him. ²⁷And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him. ²⁸ And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass. ²⁹And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him. ³⁰And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother! ³¹And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones: ³²For the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass. ³³After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places. ³⁴And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.

Now, after reviewing that story, consider again what Jesus spoke above about the gates.  How the young prophet heard the word of the LORD yet, did not completely hear nor obey His word, but he heard and obeyed another. 

Think about what Yeshua said to Peter about the gates and the rock.

The Rock and The Gates Mat 16:18 Mat 16:13-18 

When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, “Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?” And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, “But whom say ye that I am?” And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, “Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” 

 The spiritual meaning of this word gate; to the disciple of today, is extremely important for us to recognize, acknowledge, grasp and embrace.  The Holy Spirit reminds us now, to be aware that we are dealing with spiritual matters constantly (throughout the day).  Right now, we are all subconsciously dealing with the kingdoms of this world, and it must be brought to the forefront of our awareness, to walk not in this knowledge but in Christ. We are in this world.  We are not of this world, thus our thinking, hearing and our looking upon must be to the Kingdom of God.

The battles we face throughout the day  are against our minds and our hearts. For it’s a battle for the soul.  We are  fighting against the  powers of darkness and you are standing at gates, and we’re not recognizing this as such because this is spiritually discerned, and the carnal mind cannot discern the kingdom of God.  In other words you might not be able to see the spiritual, but we all will see the evidence of it eventually.  Remember, there are two kingdoms.  The kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of God. 

The kingdom of darkness in contrast, walks against (does not walk with) the Kingdom of God nor the fruit of the Spirit.

How can you recognize when you are standing at the wrong gate and hearing wrong advice? 

Through the renewing of your mind (knowing what His will is for your life as a believer), and by being aware (through watching and praying as Christ commands); consciously being aware of the fact that there are two kingdoms. Yes, we are dealing with this, moment by moment and day by day, in our lives, and must watch to make conscious decisions to walk in the Spirit; to walk in righteousness.  It pleases our Father when we fulfill righteousness by not satisfying the desires of the flesh or  mind, or the ways of this world.  We must put on the whole armour of God.

Below are a few examples of excepting into our hearts wrong information from what you are hearing, and not wearing the armour of God to protect yourself.

Gratifying the flesh and following the world’s way:

• Repeating in your mind the hurts someone has done to you years ago.  Thus, allowing this if it were an offense to you, to cause your heart to be troubled by it continually. This yields a non-effective walk in the Spirit, because of not completely letting go of the memory, which has now become a stumbling block and can become a stronghold that will affect your life and  the lives of generations to come


• Constant worry about financial situations instead of learning to trust in the LORD and trusting that He will direct your path in every situation, and bring to fulfillment what he has planned for your life.


• Holding on to bits and pieces of your old life by entertaining and reminiscing behaviors of the past, instead of completely relinquishing all, and yielding yourself as a living sacrifice.

All of these I would consider to be gates that we sit at, and places of decision. My point is, hearing and responding to the suggestions of the flesh, the world or the evil,  is what the Lord wants us to turn away from, and return to the Father.  Through listening at this gate, we won’t hear his voice and  we can’t enter into the strait gate or travel the narrow way.  All the above examples lead to a wide path if you listen to those things. 

His desire is for us to listen to his counsel and to be led by the Holy Spirit, listening to the counsel of the Counselor and Comforter.

For example look at the psalms of King David and see the significance of gates mentioned in the Psalms. 

It speaks of praises that we must have when we enter the gates of heaven. It says, I will enter the gates, Your Gates; speaking to the Father, with thanksgiving in my heart. And I will enter your courts with praise. Now if this is a place of entrance where we receive from the LORD his counsel, if we deem to do so. Then let's look a little bit closer at the gates that you have been receiving from.

Do you remember the words that the Savior said to Peter “the rock,” when he said that Yeshua is the Messiah? And Yeshua said. You are Peter; which means rock, And against this revelation that the Father has given you, the gates of hell will not prevail against. What did the Father reveal to Peter? He revealed to Peter one glorious truth.  That truth is that Jesus, is the Messiah, who brings salvation to man and to the world. This revelation came from the Father. Peter was sitting at a gate. And truth from the Father in Heaven, was revealed to him, and Peter received the truth that the Father had revealed. He heard our Father. And in the same way Jesus (Yeshua) said, the gates of hell will not prevail against that truth. And upon this rock, the truth and the fact of Yeshua being the Messiah, I will build my church (my assembly), is what he said.

Now the gates of hell is where information that is contrary to the knowledge and will of God sits. This information is completely contrary to what you should be hearing with your ears or allowing into your heart.  Throughout time, subtle information has been given to people at these gates.  This information is continually being given to people and they are receiving this counsel continuously. It doesn't matter to them whether you are a saint or a sinner.  Their goal is to rule this world in darkness,  but with the knowledge that you have from our Savior; which is that he is the Messiah, and that the gates of hell, the counsel, the decrees, the orders of hell will not prevail against his church.  When things come to your mind, know that you may very well be sitting at a gate.

Which gate do you sit at?  Remember, their counsel is not for you. Mark this in your mind. The gates of hell will not prevail against the Church.  You are a part of the body of Christ. You are a part of the church, his assembly. You are a part of the bride of Christ. Do not partake, come away from those gates. Do not rejoice in going into that gate and the counsel that it attempts to give you .

Remember, you enter gates, I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving in my heart. We're talking about the Father. We're talking about the Kingdom of Heaven. Every day, enter His gates with thanksgiving in your heart. Enter his courts  with a heart of praise. Be thankful to Him and glorify His name. Receive from him your counsel through the Holy Spirit.  Do not wake up in  the morning by starting your day by receiving negative thoughts and meditating on that.  Do not listen to nor receive the counsel of darkness. 

Now, what are you going to do? You're going to enter the gates of the LORD with thanksgiving in your heart.  Seeking His kingdom. Seeking his counsel, and blessing His name. Be thankful to Him and bless His Holy name. Do not go to that other gate. Go through Christ.  He is the way, which will yield in you a heart of submission and humbleness towards the Father and man .  The Lord gives counsel that is truth, light and life.  Don’t receive the counsel at the gates of hell.  That counsel leads to sin and death. That counsel leads to a heart of disobedience, stubbornness and error when it is received.

Remember and meditate on this.   Plant it in your mind, and in your heart.  Remember the gates. Choose the gate that Christ provides.  His gate is the gate of Truth and Life. The gate to Salvation in Him.  Be an obedient child and choose Christ.  Get wisdom and get understanding.

Jesus being led by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the devil.

Remember the time of Yeshua's temptation. The Holy Spirit led him.  Yes, the Holy Spirit led him into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil? Think about it, look and see and review that story of; how the devil tested Yeshua. He made strong suggestions to him.  He was tempting him, and testing Him with the very things we are tempted and tested by today. In every opportunity that was presented to our Savior, he chose the Kingdom of God. He chose the counsel of the word, the counsel of the Father.  He chose the word of God, and He responded with those words to the devil.  He chose those words, because that counsel came with authority, power and life.  That counsel comes with the quickening of life; “The Word.”  It says that the enemy then left him for a season.

Another example confirming with what ears Yeshua heard is found in Matthew 16:21-23 where he rebuked Peter for not receiving what he had said:

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, “Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” 

(savourest: to entertain an opinion ie Yeshua was saying that Peter was setting his affections on the way a man thinks and not the way the Father thinks)

Think on His Example:

Seeing how Christ is our example, let us follow his way in all things; believing in him for the saving of our souls. When confronted with thoughts in your mind or situations that you face, let’s respond to each situation as he did; with the counsel of the word, by the Holy Spirit, in his authority and his power;

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock (found on Christ the Rock). And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”   Matthew 7:24-27 kjv

for He has sent you the Holy Spirit who will teach you and lead you into all truth. John 14:26 and John 16:13-15

So, don’t Let The Enemy Get The Upper Hand

These words are words from my heart to you.  These words are words, I believe the Savior; our Messiah, would have me to present to you today.  As always I ask that you consider these words, and take them before Yeshua (Jesus).  Seek him and have him show you through his Spirit whether what I am delivering to you is truth.  Because right now while reading and listening to this, you are sitting at a gate.  A gate of decision.

I pray that you when reading this your spirit is quickened to receive it.  Blessings to you all.  Amen

I pray in the name of Jesus (Yeshua) that you receive this hidden wisdom from the word; by the Holy Spirit, that we have the mind of Christ and our minds (our way of thinking) is centered in Christ Jesus our Lord and the Kingdom of God.  So that we can enter at the strait gate.  For the Father has given us a new mind and a new spirit.  We are not of this world. Our home is the Heavenly Kingdom. So guard you hearts and your minds and take care what you hear. 

"But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ". 1Cor. 2:7-15 kjv

Father, I pray that your hidden wisdom be revealed this day to us all by your Spirit.  So that we may discern what you have so freely given to us through your Son Jesus (Yeshua).  I pray for healing of our hearing, that we will hear and return to You; according to the words of your Son. For You work in us to both to will and to do your good pleasure. Thank you Father for such a wonderful gift.  In Jesus name.  Amen
