“I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God.” Luke 12:8 NIV

We are not meant to keep our relationship with Jesus Christ to ourselves. We are called to share the Good News in a world that is in desperate need of hearing it. We are called to proclaim Christ, and Christ crucified. This is hard for many to understand. This is in part due to the ignorance or unwillingness of many to believe that they are sinful and in need of a savior. Sin cannot stand before the Heavenly Father. For us to be reconciled to the Father, someone needs to take the penalty for sin, which is death. Jesus Christ accepted death, death on a cross that we might be made acceptable in the eyes of the Father to be His adopted children.
