“Be a on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.” Luke 12:1-4 NIV

The disciples had spent time with Jesus when He spoke with the Pharisees and the teachers of the law. Jesus wanted them to know that they needed to be aware of the hypocrisy of these Jewish leaders. Nothing can be hidden from God. He knows what is at the root of every heart. Yes, we are all sinners, but many do not turn to the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. We need to be saved from our sins to stand before Almighty God. Our salvation was provided by the sacrificial death of Jesus. God loves us so much that He sacrificed His Son that we might be reborn, be His adopted children, and spend eternity in His presences. What a true blessing we are given. Don’t pass on what Christ provides for you!
