A Letter from the Nations, Now in Christ

To the people through whom salvation first came— To the children of the covenant, To those who heard the voice at Sinai, To those who carried the Ark, Who sang the Psalms, Who wept by the rivers of Babylon, And who waited for the Consolation of Israel—

We write to you not as strangers, But as those who have tasted your inheritance.

We were once far off— Without Torah, without temple, Without prophets, without promise. But through your Messiah—yes, yours— We have been brought near. We have been grafted in.

Your stumbling opened the door for us. Your loss became our gain. And if your falling away meant riches for the world, What will your return be, If not resurrection?

We do not boast. We tremble. For we know the root bears the branches, not the other way around. And yet, we cannot help but wonder: Will you not look again at what has grown from your seed? Will you not see the fruit born from your scriptures, Your prophets, your promises?

We sing your psalms. We read your prophets. We worship your God. And we follow your Messiah.

We long for the day when you will join us— Not as guests, But as the firstborn returning home. For if your rejection brought us grace, What will your acceptance bring, If not glory?

Come, then. Let the nations rejoice with Israel. Let the olive tree be whole again. Let the fullness come.
