"[7]Surely the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets." Amos 3.

The Lord God, Who is the Creator of all things is the custodian of ALL SECRETS. Not only this, He reserves the right to reveal any of the secrets with Him to those who are very close to Him, most especially those who fear Him.

That is the reason those who are distant from Him will always criticize those who reveal the heart of God to them. They cannot understand any of their revelations. Yet, God's divine programs come to pass.

Father Abraham is known by Bible Scholars and lovers as "the friend of God". As a result of this, as friends, they know each other's secrets. The Lord revealed His secrets to Him and He knew the heart content of His friend, Abraham.

That was the reason when Sodom and Gomorrah were to be destroyed, God, did not hide it from him(Genesis 18:17)

Did Abraham walk alone with God? No! He carried members of his household along. How do we know this? In Genesis Chapter 18:19, we read this testimony from the Lord about him,
"[19]For I have known him, so that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

The Lord had confidence in Abraham that he would command his children and members of his household to please Him even when he may have taken his exit from this Earth. "I have known him..." are the words. What a deep statement!

Beloved, can you see the need to walk with a perfect heart with the Lord with members of our households, not only when we are with them but also when we may have gone? May the Lord endow us with the power and the Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. If God helped Abraham, He will help us. The Holy Spirit is in us, He will assist us and all members of our households in the name of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
