"4:23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear myoice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.4:24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold."_ Genesis.

The above are words of confession from a man who murdered a man in the Holy Bible. After committing the crime, he could not hide it from his wives, representing his household. He did not go to his friends or any other neighbors to do this. He went and informed those under his roof, the wives. He carried them along so that they would not be ignorant of happenings around them, good, bad, or ugly. He shared what he had done with the women.

Any Need For This?
Lamech made a certain disclosure which was important and sure to happen. That is upcoming vengeance from God. The man knew the gravity of his evil action and the weight of its consequences, _"If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold."_ Genesis 4:25.

This means that, directly and indirectly, his wives will surely be partakers of the _"seventy and sevenfold"_ punishment. God will be justified as the Righteous Judge. No one among the wives will accuse Him foolishly. They have earlier been informed of the danger(s) ahead. When it comes, it will not be strange to them.

Beloved, if Lamech could inform his wives of his evil act to await the rewards, why would you not bring members of your household to the fold of Christ's Saints? Do this by words, action, and prayers. Let them be informed that the Lord is coming soon and they should prepared to meet Him. It is nearer than ever. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
