Not For Sale
Author requests article critique

deep within a weary soul
is the beauty held in scars,
not found by an easy touch
more in breaking earthly jars.

found amongst the dirt and grime
are the precious gems, forged by grace
rough by sight, but shining light
reflecting hues of love’s embrace.

my cracked frame lets the light escape
highlighting - not the darkened part,
but wonder of the source of life
displaying truth in living art.

wounded, broken with contrite hearts
valued by the Father’s care,
held close to heart – by bloody cost,
deeply known, as scars declare.
