Light Within You

“See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness. Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you.” Luke 11:35-36 NIV

Who would one not want the light of a lamp if they were in darkness? One would then be able to move around freely, seeing their surroundings. I guess the one who would not want this is the one who does not want his actions to be seen. Possibly that individual does not even want to see that which they do, knowing in their heart that their action is wrong. The darkness can hide evil, but can it hide it within the heart? Make sure that there is light within your body that you may be protected from the darkness and the evil that lurks within.
