Author requests article critique

Dina leaned her head against her brother's shoulder. Paul just held her close for a while longer. After thirty minutes had passed, it was time to go to bed. Dina climbed off her brother's lap and lay down on his bed. Paul hung up his bathrobe. As he tucked his little sister in, he whispered, "Good night, Dina." He kissed her forehead.

"Good night, Paul." Dina kissed Paul on his cheek. Once again, she silently prayed that Jesus Christ would help him to be happy again and to find a nice girl. She was soon fast asleep.

Paul turned off the light and climbed into bed. About two minutes after he had turned off the light, Dina started to scream. "Dina, baby, what is it?" Paul asked gently as he wrapped his arms around his little sister.

"I had a nightmare about that big, ugly spider I found in my room tonight!" Dina was gasping.

Paul wasn't surprised that his little sister had had a nightmare about the spider. Her arachnophobia was so extreme that she typically had a nightmare about a spider if she had seen one that day. He cuddled Dina close to him and whispered, "It's all right, little sister. It was just a bad dream. You're all right." He held Dina in his arms until she went back to sleep. Once she was asleep, Paul laid her back down, stroked her hair, and kissed her forehead. When Paul lay down, he silently moaned. Once again, he silently prayed that Jesus Christ would take his soul while he slept. He was soon overcome by exhaustion and snoring like a bear.
