It has been said, the drought is over
and a new refreshing now is here
After being in want, and things not done
but, say this is your year

Smile back at the storms that come your way
and do welcome the pouring rain
And tell them both you cannot interfere
for you are about to gain

For we have endured the times of drought
we have bored the pains that came
The hours of despair we rode them out
and so again it's time to gain

For the King of Glory he did show up;
with blessing too hard to count
So keep telling the heart it's all over
and no need to worry or doubt

The word has gone before, to open the door
and rest assure it won't come back
So rejoice O' heart for it's now our time
for each promise he won't retract

Weep no more O' precious souls of his
for your tears he did retain
Now dry your eyes, he has heard your cries
and not a tear was shed in-vain

Psalm 126;5 They that sow in tears
shall reap in joy
