Another year of sacrifice and hard work
As we arise each day to our lifestyle's artwork
Trying to improve the ins and outs
Enhancing our surroundings trying to avoid burnout

We should analyze all aspects so nothing gets taken for granted
Appreciate the little things that fuel the goals we planted
Things can greatly change quickly as nothing is ever guaranteed
Instead of clamoring for wants we should focus on our needs

The need to eat, drink, breathe, and sleep
Ordeals that carry a substance that's deep
Not surface level materials that can fade
But long lasting ideals that'll never be betrayed

Many people out there grasping at straws
As they continue to wander without a cause
However, the effect is seriously hindering their aptitude
Diminishing their ability to experience a positive attitude

Those that learned the answers shouldn't hesitate
What works for us can benefit someone else's fate
The one pathway that steers us into the clear
Is the same one that saves everyone from their fear
