The word "gospel", was derived from the greek word "euangélion" which means, "good news". When Jesus began his ministry, He preached the gospel of the Kingdom (Isaiah 61:1, Matthew 4:23). He brought good news about the Kingdom. And after He died and resurrected, his disciples and the church of Christ at large has been preaching (not only the gospel of the kingdom but also) the gospel of Jesus Christ which is the good news about the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Acts 5:42, Acts 28:31). The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of Christianity. It is the good news that got us saved and is still saving lives every day. If you are glad and happy about what Jesus did for you at the cross and glad about his resurrection, shout - Glory! Halleluyah!! You shouldn't be celebrating Jesus' death and resurrection only at easter. It should be an everyday thing. It is key to your personal revival.
And today is yet to another day to appreciate God. Glory be to God! Its another day. Another opportunity for you to appreciate God for sending his son, for allowing him to die for us and for raising him from the dead. Firstly, Jesus died so that we may have eternal life. Secondly, remember He was beaten, and he suffered pain for our healing (Isaiah 53:5). Thirdly, He resurrected and ascended into heaven and has given us all-round victory in Him. Jesus conquered the devil and his cohorts and triumphed over death. For Colossians 2:15 declares that - "And having disarmed principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them by the cross". And Jesus himself declared in Revelations 1:18 saying - I am He that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Beloved, Jesus rose from the dead and proclaimed in Matthew 28:18 that - "all power in heaven and on earth has been given to Him". As a member of the body of Christ, you should manifest power and live a supernatural life. It is your birthright as a son (or daughter) of God. It is one of the fringe benefits of redemption. You have been empowered to live a life of Victory in Christ Jesus. You can live above sin, poverty, sickness, and diseases, etc. because Jesus has paid the full price for your redemption. The mind of God about your constant victory is revealed in 2 Corinthian 2:14a which says, "Now thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ ".
Let the weak, say - I am strong and let the poor say - I am rich because of what the LORD has done. Give thanks and share the good news of Christ with others. Thank God and appreciate Him for salvation, for eternal life and for victory and for all He has done. Celebrate the good news that Jesus is alive. And because He lives, you are alive, you are joyful and victorious, and you have hope of making heaven and have hope of a better tomorrow on the earth. If you have a witness, shout - Amen!

Father GOD, thank for you for the good news of the gospel. Thank you for the redemptive work of your Son at Calvary. And Thank you for giving me eternal life and all-round victory. I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus name.
