Freedom is something so many have been looking for.
Its call has led so many to America's glistening shore.
A place where bombs don't fall from the sky like rain,
Where regardless of sex or color they treat you just the same.
A place where a madman doesn't hold all the power,
Where drug lords can't just come for you at any day or hour.
A place free from the fear that terrorists might take you away,
Where no one gets arrested because of how they pray.

Freedom is a priceless treasure, and others can see that.
That's why over the years our freedom has been attacked.
But Americans have always been ready to go to a foreign land.
To protect all they believe in, they will gladly take a stand.
Thousands of brave men and women have sacrificed their lives
To protect the greatest thing towards which our country strives.
No matter what the cost, they stood their ground.
Our future hanging in the balance, they were not willing to back down.

Freedom was what they were dying for.
They loved their lives, but they loved freedom more.
To protect our freedom they took a stand
Against those who would try to destroy this land.
They stood in defense of the U.S. of A.,
Because they couldn't let anyone take our freedom away.
They gave up their lives for you and for me
To ensure that America would always be free.
