Heirs to the eternal throne.
Precious sons and daughters,
The prodigals come home.
If we open up the door You'll come in and eat with us,
And one day we'll see You face-to-Face.
In the meantime we follow hard after Your Son Jesus,
And when we stumble, You give us more grace.

But Jesus was a servant, not very much like me.
He forgave the crowd that mocked Him, and loved unconditionally.
They very one who would betray Him, He still ate dinner with,
And when we'd run out of sacrifices, He gave His life up as a gift.
