                        How Do I See God Lead ME?

And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6 RSV

In prayer moments I ask our Lord; “Is my life guided by trusting faith or fear from within?”  Am I seeing evidences of God’s power to show me His grace in my daily experiences. I desire to listen to the voice of God’s Spirit for my soul. To be successful as a good listener to hear His Spirit talking to me.

 I know it is not an audible voice as when God spoke to Moses directing him to lead Israel from Egypt. But for each follower of Jesus we have God’s Holy Spirit, our Comforter, to talk to us.

I’ve shared over my years of writing, that to really get to know someone we must spend a lot of time with that person. It is especially true to have a good personal relationship with the One who created us. The value and importance of being a (very) good listener, is  to understand and grow in the relationship.  This was very important in my  customer service responsibilities with people of all ethnic backgrounds and cultures.

As a U S Civil Servant I became good friends with many. More than just having a casual acquaintance. Learning to be a good listener with The Holy Spirit, enables each one of us to really see  the power of God’s presence. Remember what Hebrews 11:1 proclaims to us?  Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (NKJV) To understand  the voice of our Lord’s Spirit, is seeing the result of  that evidence.  

No Bible promise is of a private interpretation. Whatever God has said to any saint, He has said to all. When he opens a well for one believer, it is done so that everyone might drink.( C H Spurgeon)
