Share Jesus with Ease

I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 1 Cor 3:6 NIV

I just got off the phone with Tracy from my bank. After we had finished with all the bank’s questions, I told her I had a question for her. Here is the current question that I asked her and ask other people on the phone and in person. “How long have you been trusting Jesus as your Savior?”

I have been doing this for a long time and my current question is directly from God. It cuts to the chase and I rarely get rejected. Tracy told me, “To be honest, just two years now.” As soon as I heard that she was a believer, I strongly encouraged her in the faith. She was ecstatic to say the least, she really lit up. I could sense the huge smile on her face and in her voice. This was a great example of planting and watering the seed as we are called to do.

We talked for a bit and I also prayed for her after asking if I could. She thanked me several times as is quite often the case. I also directed her to a free copy of a book I wrote on the evidence at https://www.god-evidence-truth.com. She downloaded it on her phone as we were talking and promised to read it. I have no doubt she will. You see, in church they tell you the Bible is true and to just have faith, but very few churches take the time to offer you the evidence that supports why it is true. The free e-book I gave her does just that.

I do get rejected sometimes, but very little. But as the Word says, rejoice when you are rejected for my name, great is your treasure in Heaven. Only ten percent or so will say they cannot talk about that topic at work. Five out of five have been very receptive in the last two days.  If they do not believe, I still try and engage them and give them the free copy of the book.

I encourage you to try this out with any vendors you speak to on the phone. You will be greatly surprised and really blessed. Offer them my book for free if you like, after you have read it yourself. That way you can tell them how the evidence helped you.
