What a wonderful way to begin our time of prayer with God. We worship Him for who He is. Regardless of what He does or does not do for us, He is still God. He is the creator of all. Nothing exists without Him. Just look at all which He has created. He has always been and always will be. God created you in His image. He created you with the inner desire to worship Him. When I worship God in prayer, His Spirit, living within me causes me to shake and to know absolutely that I am in His presence. Nothing can compare to knowing that one is in the presence of God. If we begin our time of prayer with God by worshipping Him, our heart is taken to a place where it is now ready, willing, and able to continue with the remainder of our time in prayer. We are then truly connected with our creator.
