Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” Luke 8:50 NIV
How loving and compassionate Jesus was to Jairus in this situation. He wanted to immediately deal with how Jairus was feeling at the news that his daughter was dead. What do you do when you face a “death” in your life? It can be the loss of someone, or it can be the death of something for which you had hoped. Do you want Jesus to speak to you as He did to Jairus? Know that the Lord stands beside you. He stands willing to help you. Your part is just to believe. He will provide what is in your best interest, so let go and just believe.
