flower of true beauty
to fill our lives with glee,
not frail, but everlasting
so real love we can see.

deep colours and aroma
to meet our deepest needs,
our refuge in His kind embrace
His grace, our broken, feeds.

a crushed petal falls from heaven
to pursue the hurting world,
living flesh, torn to make us whole
His full glory now unfurled.

love brings a bleeding Rose
to remove our scarlet stain,
His creation blooming
as He joins us in our pain.
