Part Three
of
Thorns of the Flesh
Stay Where You’ve Been Planted
I’ve planted you in Righteousness
I’ve planted you in Peace
I’ve planted you in Holiness
I’ve planted you in Me
Stay where you’ve been planted
This article summarizes the previous two articles, for your reflection of thought. Throughout all three, the addressed themes are habits and mindsets; that yield unrighteous conduct; because of cares of the world (what you constantly worry about), the deceitfulness of riches and lusts of the flesh, which is contrary to the desires of the heart of our Father in Heaven. I hope and pray that you perceive, have ears to hear, and are moved to softened hearts yielded to change according to our Father’s heart and will for His children.
Please, at this point, ponder the intentions of these words. They are truly heart felt. I take to heart these words and apply them as well to myself because I believe this is what the Spirit would have me to do personally, as well as say to you. So, I humbly submit this to you.
In regards to this, please take a look at the short poem “Stay Where You’ve Been Planted,” and see what the Spirit of the LORD (the I AM) is saying. To me he is saying: I AM has delivered you from the power of darkness, and has translated you into the Kingdom of His dear Son. “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Col 1:13-14 kjv Ask and ponder what is the deep meaning of this scripture.
Just as Christ spoke to Paul, who was then Saul of Tarsus, on the road to Damascus; he speaks and calls and chooses those of this day, to do the same. His goal with Paul as to all Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers, and Evangelists is to minister salvation and regeneration to those who would yield and submit to His will. This scripture sums up why Christ came: “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” Acts 26:18 kjv
Words of warning from our Savior throughout the scripture.
Many of Christ’s words are quite strong words to His followers. The lessons in each parable are strong admonitions to heed His word(they are not suggestions) . Take to heart what He has taught you. Listen believe and receive what He says in His word. Don’t reason within yourself. I strongly encourage you to embrace Him. Embrace the Word. Don’t squirm or attempt to dismiss what you know (deep in your heart) He is saying to you (that is how the word (seed) is stolen from you.)
Don’t compromise, but take heed, listen, study, pray and apply the word to your heart, and to every situation in life, so that you will know and do the will of the Father. Guard the word; that is in your heart, against every situation that may attempt to steal it from you (Learn to watch over what Yeshua has planted in you, and guard it with all diligence). Ponder and look at the way that you receive the word. Discern the condition of your heart and the condition of your hearing.
Are you pliable and yielded to the still small voice of the Spirit? Are you teachable or are you set in your ways? What I am saying is, are you stubborn, stiff-necked and hard of hearing? Are you keeping yourself in check; making sure that you are not resistant to the Holy Spirit, on certain topics that He is speaking to you about, or when He is drawing you to spend time in the word or in prayer and fellowship with Him? Are you your own person or do you love with all of your heart, mind, soul and strength the Father?
Is your heart full of the cares of this world? Is your heart full of you and what you want? Is it full of the deceitfulness of riches; which is so blinding that you believe this is the way to salvation? Is it full of distractions of habitual behavior such as gossiping, lying, cheating, covetousness, various kinds of lusts and sins of the flesh? Or are you filled with the Spirit? Be warned saints we can’t walk between two opinions. Remember the gum stuck under the shoe. Remember the rocks that causes you to stumble in this race. Remember the snare that the tiny bird was caught in. Remember and don’t forget. What does the Savior say to this? Watch yourself and pray. Seriously, watch yourself and pray. This is the warning from Christ to all generations to watch and pray. His strong warning Luke 21 and Matthew 24, Matthew 25
**His Warning is: Watch Yourselves!!!**
“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.”( It’s coming on everyone that’s on the earth saints).
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
(He’s warning us and he is also telling us what to do, if we take heed.)
Luke 21:34-36 kjv
These Are The Things He Addressed
Look at the signs of the times; the condition of the world, and the condition of your heart. Look at the way you handle life and your relationship with Christ and with the Father. Take heed, listen and get understanding. Take heed and watch yourself.
Just as I am taking heed and hearing what the Spirit is saying, please do also. I know that you’ve experienced many things in life which have caused you much harm, hurt, pain and dismay, but remember Christ. Truly believe in Him and make him real in your heart. Remember that He came to give you life, and that life more abundantly. Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you. He loves you and is touched by all that you are touched by, and will deliver you (if you have faith and believe); if asked, from all of your fears and all of your cares. Because His heart is tender towards you, and he loves you with an undying love. He sees your fears. He knows your cares. He sees, He knows, He cares. He perfects all things that concerns you including your salvation.
“If I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve me from the anger of my foes; You extend Your hand, and Your right hand saves me. The LORD (I AM) will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever— do not abandon the works of Your hands.”
Psalms 138:7-8 BSB
“being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
“I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me.”
Psalm 57:2 BSB
“Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” (Paul here is referring to what happened in the wilderness after the deliverance of the Israelites. Recall the quick justice of the Most High in several occasions in the wilderness in dealing with unbelief and disobedience.) “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4: 11-12 kjv
I believe the Spirit of the LORD is discerning the condition of our hearts; the hearts of man, and is warning us to take inventory of ourselves whether we are truly walking in Him; living and moving in Him, and in the faith of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha Maschiah).
Remove the things, I pray, that have grown in your heart that yield bad fruit. Make the soil of your heart’s without thorns, without stones, without thistles. Plough and prepare your heart to be fertile soil for the word of the Most High to grow and bear fruit. Come out of all harmful things, saints, and be His Bride. Focus Saints. Watch yourselves and remember the word of the Father is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Focus and see to the seeds you are planting in your mind. Focus, and look to see the types of seeds you are planting. Focus and ensure that you are planting good seed into good soil. Remember and don’t forget.
“…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
For it is God (it is the Almighty)
which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:13 kjv
Be the Church of Philadelphia
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth,
and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that
I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Revelation 3:7-13kjv
This is the Point
If we learn to listen and observe wholeheartedly; being yielded to the Holy Spirit teaching us and guiding us, we will hear with our hearts and believe all that He has said and is saying; receiving literally and believing literally in Him to the saving of our souls.
Being Transformed
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 kjv
Throughout these three articles the actual root being addressed are habits of mindset which yield unrighteous behavior. As mentioned in the first article, I state again, “It takes at least 30 days for a new behavior to become a habit, and it takes at the least, 30 days to break an old habit and develop a new point of view. Let us focus to repent of our old behaviors and our old ways. Turn completely to the Savior and He will deliver you and give you the strength to break the old through His Spirit, and create the new righteous/holy mindset by his Spirit, in Christ, of purposing in our heart to have a heart of obedience, yielding to the will of the Spirit of our Savior in all things.
A New Beginning And A New Mindset
Let us determine to be holy in mind, thought and deed. A new beginning. My hope is that you are able to grasp the gravity of this topic. Please listen with all of your heart, and be prayerful. What I have said, I have said, in hope that I have stirred you to examine and confirm what I have declared as something that is dependable, sound and true. Words that should be adhered to.
Meditate And Ponder On These Scriptures
Speaking of the LORD (I AM): “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Col.1:13-14 kjv
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [that is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and undamaged—consecrated to Him—set apart for His purpose]; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete and [be found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own].” 1Thessalonians 5:23-24 AMP
