This Is How The Father Sees Us

A Psalm By:  King David

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,

thou understandest my thought afar off.

Thou compassest my path

 and my lying down,

and art acquainted with all my ways.

For there is not a word in my tongue,

but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

Thou hast beset me behind and before,

 and laid thine hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;

it is high,

I cannot attain unto it.

Whither shall I go frm your Spirit?

                   or whither shall I flee from thy presence?                

If I ascend up into heaven,

Why? Why do you worry?  Why worry?   Because in our day to day living, we forget about the Father’s love and his compassion. 

We Forget To Remember

We forget to remember that His eyes are always on us; watching over our every move.

We forget to remember that His mind is fully on us, that he is always thinking about us.

We forget that before we were born, He chose us and planned every detail of our lives.

We forget that nothing that happens to us comes as a surprise to Him.

We forget to not just be hearers of the Word, but doers of the Word as well.

We forget about the parables that the Lord used to teach the crowds about the Kingdom of God and the love of the Father.

We even forget that Yeshuah (Jesus) said the words that He speaks are not his words, but the words that He speaks are the words of His Father, because he only does and speaks those things that He commanded him to do and say.

Most of all, we have forgotten one extremely important thing.  We have forgotten  to remember; and we have forgotten to take heart to all of the sayings of our Lord, forgetting that those sayings come from the very mouth of the Father.  In other words, we have forgotten to get to know Him; because in knowing Him, we know him as Abba, as Papa, as Father, and we know He won’t forget us if he is our Father.

In our forgetting we have forgotten how great His love is towards us.

Last week I began reading the book of Jeremiah the Prophet, and literally got stuck for a few days on chapter two of the book.  I kept reading it over and over again.  I then felt compelled to highlight every word  that caught my attention.  I then began to look up the Hebrew meanings to these words.  The next day I focused solely on chapter two verse two which reads: 

Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying,

 Thus saith the LORD;

I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth,

the love of thine espousals,

when thou wentest after me in the wilderness,

in a land that was not sown.  Jer 2:2 kjv

The words that spoke to me is He remembers (He reminisces).  He remembers  their kindness.  He remembers how they treated Him.  He remembers and He thinks about their love towards Him as the espoused (as a bride towards her bridegroom).  Israel showed Him love and devotion in all her acts towards Him. 

I encourage you to study just that one verse.  Ask the LORD to show you what this means to Him.  Ask Him to show you his heart on this matter.  For me, He showed me his tender love and the enjoyment He must have experienced having relationship with Israel.  It also showed me that His heart was grieved because His people had left Him. 

This one chapter showed me the likeness of how He made us to Him.  Because just as we feel, He feels.  Just as we teach and encourage our children to listen and do what we teach them, so does He. He never gives up on us, but continues compelling and reaching out to us.  This is how much our LORD loves us.

I encourage you to read all of chapter two with open eyes, and see how the LORD pleaded with Israel and tried to reason with them.  He truly did not hide His feelings toward them, nor did he hide the fact that He was witness to their backsliding hearts and deeds.   He was aware of exactly how their hearts had changed towards Him and how they truly felt about him.  Can you imagine what He must have experienced, yet because  the LORD is longsuffering, He pleaded with them, just as He pleads with us.

I want to now fast forward to the sermon on the mount Matthew Chapters Five through Seven, where we find Christ doing the same.  He’s reminding Israel in whom they should focus, and the way they should live each day.  Yes, the Lord has pressed this on my heart and the hearts of many to encourage (as to stimulate spiritually) you to revisit these words and take them to heart all of your days, because in them you will find the Kingdom of God.  Take heart of the word that you read and apply it to your mind.  Eat the word and it will nourish you spiritually.  Receive the word and allow  it to change your mind, your heart and your behavior.  Believe and receive  Christ and the Father with all of your heart.

We Are In The Last Days

We are in days of great deception.  We are in the last days so listen closely to the words of the Lord.  Remember that Jesus (Yeshua) said, but if it were possible they would deceive the very elect, but this is not possible, because the elect are a wise people learning and yielding to the truth and power of God’s Word, and they are sealed with His Holy Spirit.  The elect listen with their hearts circumcised, and their hearing healed, so that they can receive and discern what the Lord is saying in His word.  The elect take seriously the correction and chastening of the Lord; making adjustments in their hearts and in their lives, knowing that He chastens and corrects those whom He loves.

The Chosen Take Heed

Yes this is a correction to many of us, because we forget to consider the heart of our Heavenly Father who loves us.  If the Lord Jesus (Yeshua) says to take no thought of what you should eat or what you should drink or what you should wear, take it to heart and change your way of thinking.  Take no thought of it (Don’t worry about it, but give those cares to Him, and He will lead you.)  Let your mind be as His; knowing that your Heavenly Father cares for you and will see to it. 

He Cares For His Own

Do not take thought. About what you should wear. What should you eat. He said, do not do as the heathen (nations or gentiles),  who worry about these things.  The Lord says (remember, He is speaking the words that the Father has commanded him to speak.) These are the very words the Father has commanded the Lord to speak:  

“No man can serve two masters:

for either he will hate the one, and love the other;

or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Mt 6:24 kjv

^“25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?²⁶ Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?²⁷ Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?²⁸ And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:²⁹ And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.³⁰ Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?³¹ Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?³² (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

and his righteousness;

(We are to seek firstHis Kingdom (in the morning) daily;

by rising and seeking God early

Through prayer, and meditation. 

Establish and set as the foundation

of  your mind; the Lords words,

 and will for the day,

  and purpose in your hearts early

(before pondering and yielding to self-will) to

seek after His righteousness.)

and all these things shall be added unto you.

³⁴ Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Mt 6:25-34 kjv

Just think, Father remembers the needs of the grass of the field.  Picture in your mind, beautiful fields of grass. He says the grass is here today and then it is thrown in the oven and burned. Think about this. The birds are so beautiful and the flowers of the field are so gorgeous. Yet King Solomon wasn't arrayed as such. Don't you realize if He takes such care of nature, how much He cares for us?

Your Accomplishments Through Worry

Through worry can you make your hair grow or add height to your stature? Suppose you were bald, and decided to worry until your hair filled back in, that would be an impressive feat.  Of course we don't have that ability. I believe he was saying; stop worrying.  He sees, He knows and He cares.  He’s got us covered. Our Heavenly Father takes care. So we shouldn't worry? He provides for everything. We are much greater to Him than the animals plants and so forth and so on, and he says that we are much more important.   Weren’t we just reading about His care in Psalm139?

Now, with all that has been said, how can you doubt that He is, or that He sees, or that He cares? Don't fret Brothers and Sisters, but trust and obey what the Father has instructed you to do through his Son Yeshua. Don’t tie His hands by getting in the way and doing it your way.  Seek Him in every situation and He will direct your path.  Trust Him.

Just as Paul the Apostle said “be careful for nothing.

But through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving,

let your request be made known unto God.

And the peace of God that passes all understanding

will keep your heart and your mind through Christ Jesus.” Php: 4:6-7 kjv

It is paramount that we learn discipline and singleness of heart.  Be decisive when coming to the LORD with your prayers not wavering, but be in faith.  Pray in faith believing you will receive.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. 

For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 

For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:6-8 kjv

Please brothers and sisters I plead with you do not carry the cares of this world, in your minds, and in your hearts.  Remember Jesus said to His disciples, “O ye of little faith, on many occasions.  To me that means you’re not able to even walk in this small evidence of faith, as instructed by your Father not to worry.  So do it.  You have little faith when you are not doing as He has commanded us to do.  It’s not a suggestion.  (Don’t worry, I’m speaking to myself as well.)

F. B. Meyer put it this way when commenting about James chapter two:  “…..Real faith binds the soul to the living Christ, produces deep penitence and humility, and brings about an absolutely new sort of behavior-as when Abraham was willing to offer Isaac, and Rahab received and assisted the spies. To reckon on God is to be a friend of God.”

This I know, His promises are Yes and Amen.  The LORD has given us a new mind and a new spirit, just as He has promised.  With our new minds and new spirits we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. So let us not walk as the unbeliever (worrying about the cares of the world).

Ask the Lord what is He saying to you in this time.  Cry out to Him.  Allow the Holy Spirit to change your hearts to truly serve Him.  Follow Him and make your paths straight.  Be His friend and trust that He is faithful.  Believe in Him for the saving of your souls.  Receive all of Him and His teachings.  Obey His Words.  This is what He expects of His children.

My hope is that you are able to grasp the gravity of this topic.  Please listen with all of your heart, and be prayerful.  What I have said, I have said, in hope that  I have stirred you to examine to confirm what I have declared as something that is dependable, sound, and should be adhered to.

Lastly, there is one more chapter I’d like to leave with you, for your review.  Please thoroughly read and study it.  Consider what the Spirit is saying to you,  Matthew Chapter 25.  There is much knowledge in it from the Lord.  He expresses in detail what gets you into the Kingdom of Heaven, if you look close enough.  I have added; for your convenience, the definitions of a few words that may help in your studies.  Also, at the end of this article I have included a short poem/song for you to consider.

While all true believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, none can give their oil to someone else (see Mt 25:3-8)! Each person must seek (find) the Lord for themself.
