Blessing In Hatred and Rejection

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Luke 6:22 NIV

How does one find blessing in being hated and rejected? We all seek to be accepted and loved. Who is it though that we want acceptance and love from? Yes, we want to be loved by family and friends. What we need even more than this is love from God. He does love us all. The Father loved the world so much that He sent Jesus to be our Savior. Nothing must stand in the way of us being followers of Jesus. Know that in doing so that you will be insulted by some, rejected by others, and even hated by some. This is because they live in and of this world. They have no place in their lives for Jesus Christ. Be not like them.

Over 100,000 Christians are tested upon this every year, having their lives taken from them for their love of Christ. Many more are totally rejected by their families and relatives. You have captured this extreme love of Christ well in your points. Very well done!
