Rejoice in the Lord always,
Again, I will say rejoice;
Giving Him a song of praise,
Shout as you lift up your voice.

Let your temperance be known,
To all the Lord is at hand;
Let eagerness not be shown,
Confidence to understand.

Be careful about nothing,
But in everything by prayer;
Imploring with thanksgiving,
Of your requests that you share.

Because of the peace of God,
Passes all understanding;
Letting your heart and mind laud,
Knowing what He’s demanding.

As to what is true and honest,
Whatever lovely and pure;
To know as to what is just,
And commendable for sure.

Excellence worthy of praise,
As you think about these things;
Any virtue that outweighs,
The righteousness that God brings.

What you heard and have received,
As you have learned and seen in Christ;
Practice what you have believed,
In what God has sacrificed.
